The Sentinelese Tribe

All around the world we find many different people and cultures that seem to vary widely in their belief but can always be apart of the collective conversation in the world.

Today, this conversation is all the more connected as we embrace the age of information. We are more than able to speak to anyone from all around the planet with the press of a button and hear each others voice in real time. In fact, it’s unsurprising for people to believe we are all connected in this global collectivism of the modern day.

The truth is however, there is still one last group of people in the world of whom has never had any outside connection with the world and it appears that it is going to stay that way. So today, here at unexplained mysteries, we will be going over these last remnants of an isolated human society known as the tribe of the Sentinelese and 5 mysteries surrounding their people.

Some jack wagon recently attempted to visit and”convert” the tribe to Christianity. They killed him as soon as he reached the shore. The gobermint in the region went after the fishermen who drop him near the island.

Theres a short doco proving they are not as savage as most say they are. People have successfully made contact and exchanged gifts without too much hostility. As with most, baby stesps are the key. It is still best to leave them alone as modern diseases and contact can damage thousands of years of evolutionary impacts. As Pam states ” they just want to be left alone”. Pams words could not be more poignant. Having said that Pam is totally correct. Its sad to think we need to believe what social media tells us when in fact its not all true. People are people and even animals prove to us that their not that far detached from our way of thinking. And as we have all learnt through just listening ( thanks Wes) that squatch is just the same.
