We are IF writes “The New Zealand Bigfoot. The Moehau Man. I recently took a look at the cryptid hominid that is said to be found in the forests of Singapore. Alabaster Kros a long-time subscriber to the channel mentioned a similarly small bigfoot-esk creature that has been seen in the thick forests of New Zealand.
In this video, I will take a look at the cryptid. Talk about some of the evidence for its existence and see if there are any links to the other small hairy hominids found in other areas of the Asia Pacific region. So let’s dig into the legend that is The Moehau Man.”

His theroy has one huge hole and its a very simple one . Nz broke away from Australia about 85 million yrs ago long before any form of primates existed. There where no land bridges or any means of any form of hominid getting to our shores. even in latter era’s .The distances would have been to great. Our land here became the domain of large birds the moa which went extinct about the 1600’s due to over hunting by the Maori . Also given they had a lot of non existent monsters in their folk lore that simply did not exist ,i’m adding this one to that list. Have fun

Naw….I can’t buy this one. I spent a day with my husband and his cousins traveling around the country side of the north island, on kind of a “historical tour” as my husband’s cousin is the tribe record keeper, who keeps the whakapapa (genealogy) and all the lore and legends. We went from place to place as he guided us and was showing us where various taniwha (monsters) were seen and did their deeds in history. It’s all just folklore, as the whole of country would be positively crawling with monsters everywhere if it were all true.
But if there was a moehau man, there is some awesome and breath-taking places for him to hide.

I saw one looking in my bedroom window in NZ when I was 7, + had nightmares about it for 40 years. A month ago I asked my brother if he had seen anything at our childhood home, …all 3 of my brothers had seen it. We lived at the bottom of a mountain, which had tunnels in it.

It had a round head, no neck, no bigger than a man, short thick golden brown hair all over it’s face, large shoulders, this was in 1964 in North Island, near Coromandel, NZ.
