In the mid-1960s, a family of four living in an isolated and densely forested stretch of the Pacific Northwest had a series of terrifying encounters with a massive man-like beast that seemed to be disturbingly focused on their children, in particular their 4 year-old son—leading to an all-out assault and attempted abduction that would leave the young family reeling in horror.

There’s a pretty good film adaptation of this, and it’s quite loyal to this recounting (though they set the movie in East Texas rather than Washington – don’t know why). It’s called “Something In The Woods”, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a watch.

Yes. It’s called ‘There’s Something In The Woods’. It’s a really good movie. It was made in Jefferson, TX near the Black Bayou. I live near there. I have heard some really freaky stuff 😳😬

I’m sure glad I live in a large city. Really a scary story and they were blessed to get out unharmed. Thanks for the tip, I will look that movie up.
