    Yes he is Trent, I had a chance to talk to him, he is a Real Cowboy! Graceous and kind, and also gave Wes a compliment, he said he was a good man…But we already knew that did’nt we…

    (New Jersey) Bob Gimlin does have a reputation as being a true gentleman. He’s most definitely a living legend in the Bigfoot World. Wes Germer is much younger than Bob, but he certainly is making a name for himself in the Bigfoot Community. After all, he has created a groundbreaking website with Sasquatch Chronicles!! I know everyone here enjoys and appreciates it very much!!

    I have met him also. Great great gentleman. He seems to make it to the Salt Fork Lake conference every year. I so wish that some producer would make a full length Hollywood movie of this event and all that led up to it so the public at large finally see what really transpired that day in 1967, while Bob is still alive and in decent health to assist. This story needs to be told.

    Just another comment about Bob. He is an honest man and those that know him personally will attest to this. Bob could have been a millionaire, but chose to be honest instead. Before the filming of Sasquatch Legend meets science, Monster Quest Producer Doug Hajicek was with Bob. Doug got a call from his producer. He told Doug to offer Bob a million dollars to give them the real story about the film. They wanted Bob to come clean on how it was all staged and the real costume and sorts. Bob in his by golly ways said well he could certainly use the money, but the real story is the one that he and Roger exposed.

    Would’nt it be great for Wes to have a talk with Bob?. Have a record here of this remarkable man?. I’ve heard him interviewed and he is obviously a lovely, sweet man who has in his latter years it seems, finally received the affection and respect he deserves from most of the ‘Bigfoot community’. He and his wife were taking crap long before the internet and most of the modern day ‘researchers’ were even born. He seems to be honoured and revered by most now and that is a credit to people involved in this subject, which one can’t often say about the Bigfoot community!.
    I’m not American and Bob seems to me a good example of what is great and good about America and Americans. It would be awesome for another of my ‘favourite Americans’, namely Wes, to have him on this show?.
