I’d like to echo Shannon’s comment. Nice work, Mark and Melanie! The video clearly illustrates how dedicated you are to your research and just how challenging it is to capture clean footage of a sly Sasquatch. A deep bow of gratitude to you all for sharing your work and for your collaboration with Wes and all at Sasquatch Chronicles.

That’s the kind of no b.s. reality research that lends credibility to the subject of Sasquatch. Thank you Mark and Melanie for your dedication and hard work. That was awesome footage.

I really like those two, for many reasons. One of the best is that it reminds me of some solid wisdom I received from an older, wiser man, who at one time had one of the most successful counseling ministries in the mid-west. His advice to every couple, before they would ever encounter problems in their marriage was, find something to do, in common. Something that will put you together, instead of keeping you apart, or shutting the other half out altogether. That’s good sound wisdom for any married couple. Plus, I enjoy the humor and the respect they have for one another. You can easily see that Mark digs’ his wife! Good show! Keep her safe, my neighbor to the south. Watch yourselves!

Very good video IMO. Good job Mark & Melanie.
Seeing that they are often very close at times , maybe you should try a different approach in the field. Use a pair of binoculars in stead of your normal eyesight. You state that the density of the jungle is too much for our mind to comprehend , so slow it down and learn how to scan intelligently and you may capture them. Then if you spot one you can then go to the video and zoom in on the subject. I never saw you with binoculars in any of the footage. It’s the only way to see these creatures IMO, if not you will pass them by every time.

Mark and Melanie, keep up the great work and please be safe out there. My mom stays in Englewood fla. 6 months a year and is about a quarter mile from myakka state park off of 776. I took my dog there this October and it was very cool. Beautiful country down there but so damn hot!!???? god bless and happy holidays all!!

Very good stuff Mark and Melanie, kudos to your hard work! To think that thing was in the bush right behind you is proof of their stealthiness. These things are a lot more intelligent than we give them credit for.

    Incredible pix, guys!
I watched it on the CryptoReality site. Which, by the way, is awesome.
Melanie is courageous to a fault, Mark is a film making machine!

Loved the footage. Great work a couple of suggestions. Wear a Go pro or similar camera pointed back over your shoulder. When you have your back to them they will move to reposition themselves better or to exit. It has worked for other researchers in gathering photographic and video evidence. I hane always thought a combo camera set up with multiple signal processing units and multiple lense configurations would really be a great way to go. In one shot you could have the proof needed to confirm the visual evidence worth other data streams, thermal, high res audio, etc. This is an old hunting trick that my dad taught me and I have heard others using it, it maps thought in with the someone watching you episode. When you ate ready to enter the wilderness on your hunt coat type mind of all thoughts of hunting. Set your intention in your mind to be you are just talking a walk. If done correctly you will turn off your predator energy that warms the animals of a predator entering their territory. This paper instinct/energy is on even if you ate trying to video or photograph

Sorry accidentally hit the post before I finished. This predator instinct/energy is on even if you are just going to take pictures. I believe this is why they view cameras the same as guns. They feel the predator instinct whenever you point anything at them. Just some thoughts good luck. I how to see more of your skid in the future.

Ahh that’s cool advice Ted. And the particular words you used to describe it—namely ‘intention’—made me think of Sheldrake’s work on animals knowing when their people have decided to come home during the day which he ultimately concluded was based on the moment the pet owner formed the intention to come home rather than any other likely variable possible in that scenario… So I’ll bet your advice is spot on as far as forming the ‘intent’ to merely head off for a stroll rather than a hunt… Works as long as you don’t have any internal ‘tells’ those cagey prey animals can read as you lie inside your head of course.
