Stunned And Absolutely At A Loss For Words……

A listener writes “Me and two of my friends, Albert and Isaac went fishing yesterday to Eleven Mile Reservoir. We are from Pueblo Co. We went out there about 10:30 so we fished the whole day until about 5:30.

We were on our way back to Pueblo and about 10-15 miles out from the lake we were heading down a road full of trees. Everything was normal until we came around a left bend and I saw movement on the left side of the road. It caught my attention and I kept my eyes on it. It looked like a huge man. I thought to myself “Whats this dude doing”. He looked hunched over towards the hill that was on that side. as we got closer, I saw it turn and look over its shoulder at us, and give us the most eerie look I’ve ever seen in my life. It stunned me out so bad I cannot stop thinking about it.

I saw two eyes and a head shaped like that of a human. The face, the only way I could describe is like the face of a small monkey, bald all on the face but hair around it. After seeing it look at us, I watched it turn back around towards the hill, pump it shoulders and take two steps up the hill. We drove right passed and we could not see it anymore in the hills. All three of us can say we saw the same exact thing, I saw hair that was gray/black in color, described as pepper color by one of my buddies. We were so shocked after driving back for about another 20 minutes stopping at Wendy’s to eat. We ate, got gas, and we all decided as a group to go back, We knew what we saw and wanted to see if we could find any evidence of something that was there, whether it be prints, hair broken branches, something.

We went all the way back to the reservoir and tried to retrace our steps. I had a powerful mag-light I was holding trying to shine in the mountains, trying to remember where it was. After going back the whole way, we could not find the spot 100%, we left shocked, stunned and absolutely at a loss of words. Growing up in Leadville, Colorado, I know for fact is was not an animal I’ve ever seen before, It was on two legs and I truly cannot explain it.”

What a crazy experience, I have heard of several Sasquach sitghtings in the Pikes Peak area so you are not alone. From all that I learned about this creature you don’t want to go after it alone either.

The Sangre De Cristo range is a pretty serious range and I do not think it is very easily accessed ? It seemed pretty rugged and wild when I was at San Dunes National Monument. Not far from Pueblo.
