A listener writes “The guy talking about the fairy-thing on Sunday’s show reminded me of something similar that I saw.
I saw something similar to the “fairy” sighting. The witness’s story reminded me of it.

This was late July / early August 1992. I was 16 years old. It was a hot summer day, and me and a buddy of mine, had been riding our bikes in the neighborhood. We stopped at a church, so we could sit under the roof of its porch, and cool down. I looked, and could see this orange ball of light flying around, erratically, over some trees on a mountain, about a half mile away from us. It was small. No bigger than the hood of a car, but round. I just stared at it for about a minute, wondering if I was really seeing it, or if it was just some sort of “floaters,” or sun spots, from my eyes in the hot summer heat. It was radiating, and changing colors, from orange, to red, to yellow, and orange again.

I finally asked my buddy, “Hey, man, do you see that thing?” He said, “I was about to ask you if you could see it!” We watched it for a couple more minutes. It almost flew like a hummingbird, or like it was having trouble flying in our gravity, or something. It kept zipping around. Then, finally, I said, “Let’s go over there, and see if we can get a closer look!” We hopped on our bikes, and illegally crossed a couple of the neighbors’ yards… It seems funny now, but, in those days, we had no regard for trespassing. We would just hang out in people’s yards all day. Heh heh. We went under some trees, and crossed a creek. The last time I could see it, it looked like it was going straight down.

By the time we got to the neighbors’ yard, where it looked like it was, it was gone. We got some sticks, and poked around in some bushes and brush, trying to find it, but we didn’t see a thing. We spent a good 20 minutes looking for it. It was just gone. I don’t know, the orange, radiating glow, and the hummingbird-like flight kinda made me think of my sighting.

Anyway, I really like your show, man. I’ve never seen a bigfoot, but I’ve had my fair share of UFOs and ghosts, over the years. I’ve heard some tree knocks, and weird howls, but no bigfoot sightings yet.
