A listener writes “Hey Wes had an interesting encounter here in Bishop Ca near Sierra Nevada mnt range.

Anyway early December 2016 I went w my brother and friend to a spot in the mnts to rock climb and cut down a Xmas tree for my brothers family. On the way into the spot my friend spotted large footprints w huge strides in between(got pics). We decided not to follow the tracks and went about r business.

After climbing for the day we walked back out to the truck and he grabbed his hand saw and walked solo back up the trail to get a tree he spotted. Me and my buddy stayed by the truck and started talking bout the tracks we saw earlier. After a while my buddy spotted a shadowy figure standing next to a tree up the hill bout 300 or more yds away. His eyes r better than mine but he pointed it out and sure nuff I saw what appeared to be the head and chest of a shadow like figure.

It was too far to get any features but my friend said it looked like it was swaying back and fourth by the tree. That caught my attention because I’ve heard others on the show say that also. We then waved our arms and I yelled(which I heard is a bad idea) at it to see if it would move but it didn’t. I then went to the truck to look for binoculars but there wasn’t any. After I while my friend went up the mnt to check on my brother and I tried to take pics on phone and zoom in the image but I was too far. When my bro and friend returned we showed him and he saw the shadow figure to.

Since it didn’t move I kinda just wrote it off as a shadow of a tree or something but I told by buddy if we come up here next time and there’s no figure then I would be less skeptical. Sure enough we went back to the same day the following week and the figure was not there. Not sure if it was a Bigfoot but strange never the less. The Paiute word for Bigfoot is Numunusi according to our tribal dictionary and I’ve heard of a few more sightings near June lake and mono lake area and big pine area.

My mother in law saw one bathing in a creek she said and she just waved and walked by not knowing what to do. Also my cousin said one was running by his house screaming on the Rez and got a bunch of pics of tracks in and around his house. Anyways thought I would share.  Attached is my pic I where a size 13 shoe and clearly the track is 16-18 inches long.”
