A listener writes “I did an encounter interview with you last year about an encounter I had while fishing in Illinois. I was out fishing today and I had a rock thrown at my boat. I was about 1/8 of a mile from where I had my original encounter. When this happened I said to the kid who was in my boat it might be a Bigfoot. I did this jokingly so as not to alarm the kids. One of the boys said he had a video of a Bigfoot one of his friends gave him. It was recorded in Alaska while he and his dad were observing caribou on some sort of tour. Anyway, I’ve attached the video to get your take. Let me know what your think.”

That is what I have heard how fast they move! wow! I saw it immediately!
Sharon K
That was crazy… a huge black bipedal animal??? hmmm must be a squach
Denise F
I am surprised the animals didn’t flinch an inch.
It was a fast moving ‘thing’- reminded me of (oh no, here I go with some crazy observation)…. a gorilla leaning back while running upright. Wonder what it could have been? ??
Denise F
I will say that we had cats that became familiar with fox and coyotes coming up behind our cyclone fence.
They may have been used to whatever this was running by them?
Matthew M
Dang that was fast. Crazy
Lisa B
Wish it was looped…

I keep trying to slow this down because the figure seems to just appear and doesn’t look solid to me. I hope that someone with the technology an take a closer look at what this thing is. Pretty interesting…

I did the same thing sevearl times. Beginning to think it was a splice-over cgi image, placed in fast mode.
Debbie Chamberlin
I’m wondering why the video was so short?
Amy H
Nice video! That thing moved like a super fast spider because spiders can be damn fast! Something big moving that fast is unnerving.
Teresa M
It was fast. I guess what I’m wondering about is why the animals didn’t even flinch. I would have thought that they would have ran????
Jason S
If you slow it down and scrub back and forth it looks like it might be on all 4’s
cyndie r
Send it to thinker thunker. He has all the right equipment and know how to figure it out.
Kathy K
Pretty quick and the elk in the bush didn’t even flinch..It could’ve been a sasquatch, it could’ve been anything..who knows..why was the video so short? Hmmmm…
wolfheathen
Presumably, there was nothing more on the video to record, as this is a video re-recording of video playing on a tv/monitor.
The original video might be more helpful.
The form seems to continue moving on the other side of the tree. CGI seems unlikely, but not much can be gleaned from this other than a swift moving form that the caribou seem unaware of or unconcerned with.
Damon M
Interesting video..someone needs to analyze it frame by frame. Slow it way down to see some details. Looks real whatever it is.
Charles R
My initial response is another hoax of a Bigfoot. Because it is only 5 seconds and captures the creature at the instant it comes into view and it seems human upright. If there is more to this video than 5 seconds and some back story maybe I would think different. For now it is a blur of something. It would be very easy of the person filming to determine the height of this subject.
m99
Fast? Impossibly fast. And no notice from the herd? Hummmmm…
devon c
The caribou facing away from the camera and toward the trees doesn’t even finch, and even goes back to eating. That, and the fact that this was on a tour leads me to believe this was staged for a little excitement on the tour. Nothing wrong with having a bit of a sense of humor when people are enjoying the scenery. It’s kind of like salting an old mine with Fools Gold for tourists to ‘find’.

Way too fast to be a “known” Alaskan animal or human. It seems as tho it stopped right where the willows and alders were thicker and hid. Vegetation was too sparse for its sense of safety where it first showed up on the video. The kid may have (or someone else) cut off the beginning to make it fit.
Animals know when they are hunted: he was just trying to get away so did not give off any threat.
I think the kid was focused on the Caribou and was lucky. Maybe the BF was frantic due to all the camera lasers/electronics pointing in its direction since we now know they avoid cameras like the plague.
I know they’re up here all over. I’ve talked to too many people who have seen them. I only saw one in CA just a few years ago near my home town area, and a print when I was about 12-13 while with my dad.

Oh, just thought of something…maybe there was a Caribou inside the tree line feeding on some of the same bushy stuff that one on the outside edge was. Maybe the BF grabbed it. A lot of animals seem to be unconcerned when one of theirs gets taken…we see it all the time on videos and documentaries; the others seem to just take it in stride…its head would be taken off so fast or neck broken, that’s perhaps why no one would hear anything…just a thought. It did look like there was some “busy stuff” right where it seemed the animal went out of sight…like moving about quickly; then quiet. In Alaska the Caribou feed everywhere. There is the Barren Land Caribou and the Woodland Caribou. Just thinking…don’t know what others are completely considering.

Agree with Damon M, wolfheathen, cyndie r, U H, M M and J K.
I saw a head/upright at least at the beginning. If that was real-time it was soooo fast!!
The juvenile that ran right across in front of me and my friend in his car in CA in 2016, seemed to wait to the last minute, and was impossibly fast and went from a stand to all 4’s from my side of the car where I spied it standing right close w a right shoulder and upper arm, lower arm.against a 2 foot tree then went on all 4’s. All so fast but seemed like slow motion in memory. He slammed on his brakes but it was already across the road! Impossible. Bears that run in front of me…the deer that hit me outside of Quincy, Ca…both seemed strugglingly-slow and I remember limb movements and core body parts collecting and bunching and then expanding in effort to get across, but the BF that ran in front of us was so fast it was a blur like that video. We both just remember, no snout or ears, elbows halfway down the front legs (arms), short “paws” (folded knuckles), and knees halfway down the back legs and Very deep chest. We were in shock and dumb-founded.

It’s my video. The guy who recorded it did so back in the 1990s and didn’t discover it until years later. I was told he stated he didn’t see the “thing” until years later when he was watching the film. The clip was actually recorded by a kid videoing his television with his phone while his dad showed him the film.
Charles R
Thanks for the back story Chad B. Sure would be neat to see the original video. This does change my initial opinion.
