A listener writes “I’ve been having some crazy things happening down here in South Georgia. Everything from strange footprints showing up in my backwoods, to my son being roared at, to full jars of peanut butter disappearing from my hunting spot.
Whatever it is, it’s smart enough to twist the lids off before taking the jars completely. I’ve even had something thrown at me while sitting in my blind, followed by loud popping sounds—like thick tree limbs being snapped. The only visual I’ve had so far was a pair of glowing red eyes at the edge of a power line near my hunting area. It ducked behind a tree and vanished before I could get a better look.
One of my friends had a road crossing sighting just a few miles from here, and my sister and her husband both saw something about twenty miles from where I live.”

Sounds like one or a group of them are about your area. Interesting about the jars of peanut butter taken. Their are certainly enough reports of the Boogers liking peanut butter.

Thank you for sharing… Where in South Georgia? Coastal side or West Georgia? I recall visiting Chehaw State Park and wildlife we camped there. There were scary screams- howls and not from the Red Wolves or other animals from the park, from the opposite direction. I was glad we were inside the car that night.
