A listener writes “A few weeks ago I was up at our summer camp getting it ready with my partner and daughter. We’d been working all day and it was about 4pm and as I was approaching my partner to talk about breaking for dinner when I saw someone running through the woods behind our site, just over her shoulder.

At first I thought it was the 7 year old grandson of the campground owners but quickly realized I’d seen something remarkable. It was a very mild but at the same time perplexing moment and several ideas hit me in a split second–Like, “hey that’s Parker running through the woods back there. No that’s definitely not Parker, that’s something supernatural.” The grandson Parker, I quickly realized, was with my daughter in front of our micro cabin at that moment.

This black figure moved incredibly fast through the woods. It’s gait was comically wide and it did not have the typical body movements of a man whose body was impacting the ground as he ran. It was naked but dark and I guess covered in black hair, since I saw no clothes. It was almost wheeling through the air just inches above the ground, It’s knees did not bend. Its hands and head came to a subtle point. It’s cartoonish movement made it look almost like a dark scribbly sketch of a man and could’ve been mistaken for late afternoon shadows through the trees but I know it was not, I retraced my steps and position and I could not recreate such shadows as I walked it several times over just seconds later. It turned its head in my direction as it ran and seemed to be aware that I saw it while still committed to trying to remain undetected.

Tho it was running incredibly fast, through rather thick woods it disappeared behind the trees. To say that I mean it disappeared behind some trees as if it were exiting stage left and the tree/trees that it ran ‘behind’ were at the end of the stage and it just vanished ‘backstage’.
This seemed to be so because as fast as it was running nothing could have stopped its pace so quickly to make itself skinny behind a tree at a dead stop without falling over or stepping past the tree.

I said to my wife, that very second, I just saw a bigfoot over your shoulder. She laughed and I laughed it off quickly but several times later that night and in bed I tingled all over and broke into tears thinking of it. It’s happened several times since in fact. I get really good feelings over the sighting but it haunts me. It was not scary but touching.”
