Im from this part of Oklahoma. Osage county. I listened to Pats account and hes spot on. Im 40 now but Ive known about the Sasquatch sense a little boy. My grandfather witnessed one in Salt Creek. Its a tributary that runs into the Arkansas River around Fairfax Oklahoma. Osage County is a reservation of the Osage Indian tribe. Theress been sightings of Sasquatch in the area for many years. They travel Arkansas River which leads to the S.E and eventually the Mississippi. Eastern Oklahoma North Texax Louisiana Arkansas. These creatures arr known to be in these areas foe many years and still are. The myth about them not being as big in the South is exactly that. Cause they do 10 to 12 foot Sasquatch have been seen . Bute the Indians and locals keep it hush hush. But theyre there no doubt.

Imagine That ! I worked Seismograph for the Oil Field , In Osage County! We stayed in Pawhuska . & ate at Bad Brad’s BBQ ! WHICH WAS KILLER !
I even ran into a Travis …….. Who cooked at Bad Brads , Like in 1997. On a Beach here in North Western Michigan ! Talk about a Small World !
( I even got to spend Time in the Jail , in Pawhuska . Other than that – I Liked Oklahoma !)

I grew up in the same area that Pat lived in. I lived in Creek County from 1951-1973. I know SO MANY people who saw these creatures in the 1960s and this was before we had ever heard of them. And the stories were exactly like these stories. Pat was totally easy to understand, especially compared to Boston, New York, or British accents! The guys on Coast to Coast mentioned how quiet and still it was before the Big Foot showed up, on that mountain road. That is something I heard of in the 1960s, when Big Foot showed up in Bristow out in the woods, where teens hung out, called the Haunted Castle. It was just a big house someone started, shaped like a small castle. People went there and ran into Big Foot, also in the farming areas around Sapulpa and Jenks OK. We just had no idea what they were. My friends would go back out there in the day, with their folks with them, and their guns. But the BF didn’t show up in daytime.

I live in Osage county now, and have lived in Washington Co., Ottawa Co., And all over the NE area most my life I’m 54 now, I’m A Half-breed Cherokee. my 2 A’s I was chased And had to throw away my levi’s both times. lol. But I know exactly where he is and yes they grow them damn big around here.

Will and Wes; I enjoyed this show in a different way today- just had a laugh and good time listening to you two. No encounter needed really! Just really liked hearing your gas station experience- your interaction with the guest and overall just good old talk…I think we may all get tied up in the excitement of an encounter story and forget what a treasure trove of insight and info we have on here, in Will and Wes and their humor.

The whole telepathy thing makes me laugh. First off, you would have to think or project images rather than words unless the person or being you were dealing with spoke your language. If these creatures had that capability, then what would be the purpose of bluff charging or pacing someone. Why waste all that energy. Couldn’t they just beam you an image of them twisting your head off?

    • BARBARA T

But the people I knew who went out Looking for BF said it was like the BF controlled them, like it hypnotized them. They sat there in their car just frozen with fear. But they said the next day it was like the BF was controlling them, telepathically. The thing stared them in the eye, and they couldn’t move if they had to.

  3. James G

One of the best episodes ever!!! I can’t remember when I’ve laughed harder. Pat Rocks! It was like listening to a bunch of old hunting buddies just sitting around shooting the ****. AWESOME!

  4. Mark b

Sorry Wes, but I don’t agree with your policy of shooting a Sasquatch for proof of existence. Whats wrong with using tranquilliser darts, surely a live captured one is a whole lot better than a dead Sasquatch. And before anyone starts having a go at me for disagreeing with Wes, this show is all about opinions and I’m entitled to mine.

    • Terry R

One might think that you just might have a different opinion if you had an experience like Wes and Woody. But they might think differently if their experience wasn’t so hostile. And with all the evidence and data gathered over the years, the government is still in denial. If you had one as proof, at least you could warn the public responsibly. Just for the record, I’m not pro-kill unless its for protection. But then when it comes down to the situation where you have to pull the trigger, how many more would there be in the area at that time? You might just be signing your own death warrant by shooting one. The trouble with darts is calculating the amount of drug, where will it be when the drug finally knocks it out, and if there are more than one at the time you might really piss the rest of them off when they see their buddy fall to the ground. Remember that you have to be fairly close when using a dart gun. Please don’t take offense at my response. I’m just saying that there is a lot to consider.

      • David R

You’re right when it comes to tranquilizing one! It could get you killed. If it sees you it will have enough time to catch you! You need a group of people (WITH GUNS) to kill ONE!!! It could get very hairy after it happens! LOL

Why would Sasquatch have the ability to mind speak when other animals don’t? Why would we assume that all human beings have the same abilities? Why would government agencies be hiding and the mainstream media be making a joke about the existence of Sasquatch? Wes, It’s not that they think we would rather watch crap on TV, it’s that they want to keep the public lazy, and uninformed….especially on the topic of Sasquatch. I don’t have all the answers, however, I do believe that I have to keep a very open mind. Thanks for a great show.

As a “HILLBILLY”, i take a lot of abuse over the way i talk. Because of perceptions, by our faster talking friends, about our intelligence. People like me are careful who we talk to about sensitive subjects. But that said, the “HILLBILLY” way of life has put me in the woods, most of my life. Therefore, people like me are likely to encounter natures secrets. But most Appalachians choose not to discuss them. Its good to hear “normal talking people” talk about these topics. It helps remove the stigmatism.

Hey, Joshua N, I am from Alabama. I am not a squatcher but will tell you that they are here. I am in the southeastern portion of the state close to the Georgia state line. Will and Wes, you all are so wrong to laugh at Pat but here in the south we have certain sayings y’all from the north and east coast are unfamiliar with. But hell. That was funny, I had to laugh. We do ‘rassle’ here. I enjoyed Pat and would love to hear more from him. I had to go to Sasquatch Watch and listened Connie. Sorry but she sounds a bit credible but also she she sounds a bit off. Apparently they don’t like Wal-Mart brand dog food or budweiser. The pancake part got me. Miss Connie may have dementia. I hope her family watches closely over here because she might very well come up missing. I hope she stays safe and stops feeding these creatures.

LOL I listened to this and I could understand Pat fairly well, of course I ain’t that far removed from the country and have rassled in dirt over many topics in my youth, where on Sundays we go have supper with Mama and them.

  10. Pat T

Will, your laughter cracks me up. I went back to the behind the scenes and listened to u guys light up Standing, Meldrum and I thinks it’s Melba?, anyway you three had me cracking up big time in front of my workers who were looking at me funny. The comedic value adds a lot to the show, keep it up!

  11. michael b

That’s crazy Kiefer ok, that’s 20 miles from where I live, my wife seen one while riding four wheelers but I didn’t believe her until I had one scream/roar at me. It was the scariest moment of my life , I was with a buddy and we both stoped and didn’t talk or move for at least 5 minutes .

  12. Alex D

My take on Sasquatch not being extraterrestrial, if they were linked to aliens why have there not been any sightings of the same creatures in Hawaii, given if all aliens travel to earth through aerial travel?

I know I was bad and went to BFRO but I noticed they have 0 sightings in the state of Hawaii. Has anyone ever heard of one? Please share with us all.

  13. michael n

Could you play that cut from SWR on your next episode or tell me which episode is it where the old woman made pancakes 1 in the morning for the Bigfoots. I haven’t laughed so hard since no shoes curly. Hilarious!

  14. Chris B

This episode is Precisely why I have such a high opinion the show. I have NO idea if there are UFO’s or not. But You guys don’t give it any credence like I’ve heard on other shows time and time again! This is probably one of if not The most grounded show on such a controversial/disrespected topics. Please keep up the good work!

  15. Jay Carlsen

THAT’S GREAT ! The Gas Station story ! Congratz !
The shirts …. yeah. ( I will buy one ) But the other …… Would it be THE CUP ? ( Shit ! I would pay $20.00 for one of those !)

  16. Mr.Crypto

Hey Wes im in Texas and i want one shot too so come on down and we will have a big ass party with bob g. in the big thicket and get this fucker shot and put on a slab ! just bring big ass guns ! at least .50c and plenty of lights. No beer or weed allowed or we could turn into flute players and get our asses kicked !! LOL

  17. Marc C

So, Wes, what do you tell a person who sees eye glow (vice reflection) when there is no source of light to cause a reflection? Then what would you tell that person when they see the color of the eye glow change? Does it have to be demonic in your opinion, or, within the realm of all possibilities could it be sasquatch?

  18. Lisa B

You folks who can’t seem to understand this southern gentleman give me a good ol laugh. He ain’t nuthin compared to some of my NC relatives! Lol. Hell I can’t even understand some of them….this guy’s awesome! Us Southerners are the f*cling best and y’all know it.

  19. Bryan G

I honestly don’t believe the sasquatch population should be considered an endangered species. Their population needs to be regulated like every other predator population, because they’ve gone unregulated for hundreds of years, and I believe there’s millions of them in our forests, not thousands.

  20. Kimberly M

About the red eyes, there are old news clippings from the 1800’s that talk about red eyes. And I bet now after listening to now hundreds of sightings you now know there are many incidents of red eyes. I’m so glad this other guy is no longer on the show. He’s a jerk!
