SC EP:408 I watched his expressions change on his face

I will be welcoming two guests to the show. My first guest, Georgie from Oklahoma, describes having an encounter with his family while fishing. He describes a creature with large breasts throwing rocks at him and his family.

Our second guest Denise from Texas writes “Hey Wes, I’ve wrote before concerning the years we have shared the woods with some creature that no one believes is there. MANY strange things happened (whistling, knocks after I accidentally would bang a broom, large strange dead animals in the tree line) and I knew nothing about Bigfoot until I “scared him” twice and then witnessed him through a pair of binoculars. This allowed me to watch his expressions change and study his face, creepy as it was.

I also wanted to tell you about another guy we knew here in town who was in law enforcement and shot one that was on his back patio one night.

If you’re interested in talking, I’d be willing to share what we have gone through. Thanks for all you do, you seem very kind.”

      Wee:
      Outstanding! Great show!
Regarding Denise – the action she describes the Sasquatch doing is called the “Flehmen Response”:
      * “a behavior in which an animal curls back its upper lip exposing its front teeth, inhales with the nostrils usually closed and then often holds this position for several seconds. It may be performed over a site or substance of particular interest to the animal (e.g. urine or faeces) or may be performed with the neck stretched and the head held high in the air.“
This behavior is mostly seen in mating situations (I hope Denise and any young ladies take care).

WES AND DENISE ARE CORRECT. THESE THINGS ARE ABOMINATIONS! When the truth comes out it will change our whole view of the world.

Don’t forget the crazy female squatch that tried to kill Bob Garrett and his son Travis down in the big thicket, had he not kneeled down with a 12 ga. as she came through to pop his his head off like a grape!

What about the baby crying? Anything? /// Right on Wes, our brains sense them before we see them… /// Loved that first guy. So honest and forthcoming. Boy-Hidy! He puts on Sasquatch Chronicles for the kids! LOL. Awesome man!

    2nd guest:
_that’s what I heard in the bayou behind our house when I was a little child. I thought it was ghosts, or banshees. Big Thicket, East Texas area, Pine Island Bayou. My parents moved when I was about five or six, to a neighborhood.

A friend of our had a farm we visited when I was a young mom. I’d take my small toddler out to a creek and pull his clothes off and let him play in the water. We’d have bon fires, parties, etc out there. I think back on times I’d get creeped out. I attributed it to the fact I had a small child and was a little more cautious. That was in the same area she’s talking about.

Oh my goodness. The hits keep on coming. Please, be careful out there, lady!

Wes, Did the 1st guest say he actually saw the sasquatch throw the rocks? If so, what was the throwing motion like? Was it (A) overhand like a baseball throw, (B) underhand like a softball pitch, or (C) full extension arm lateral throw like a Discus throw? It might be a clue to its shoulder structure as well as behavior. Perhaps Dr Meldrum would have some insight to the throwing motion possibly being an indication of it being more human or more ape.

  4. Ernest M

I’m with you Wes, lame gubberment needs to remind themselves that one of their first priorities is the protection of the people. If they are aware of Sasquatch on the property the very least they can do is give the occupants information on how best to keep themselves safe.

  5. Barbara W

At 1:11:00 the expression she is describing is called a flehmen response. The animal curls up its upper lip and exposes the Jacobson’s organ. It’s a natural mechanism to help them detect and analyze chemical messages in scents.
It’s commonly seen in cats of all sizes, but also in other mammals as well.

Great show. I live in TX about 1 1/2 hours drive from that area of OK. As he was talking I could see in my mind that area in my head. That is some creepy backwoods country in there. Trees that hang over the road and darken it like a tunnel.
I totally understand him saying he lost his innocence after his encounter. It changes your freedom. After my experiences I will not go outside after dark except in my own back yard with the lights all on. And I am always searching the dark area past the fence line. I will never walk my fields after dark like I have done all my life.
Denise was great, too. It really opens your eyes to how many of these Manimals are running around out there. And so many varieties. Dang it is sobering.

  7. Karen C

So good tonight, our thanks to the two guests for telling us the best information. I just hate to hear about the dogs that they kill it’s so sad then it pisses you off and you want them all gone!

  8. Pete M

Great show Wes, very compelling guests, I appreciate all your efforts. This is by far the best show out there, and there are some good ones. I’ve found my line of thinking evolving over the years right along with yours since you first started this show. I used to think I knew what these things were, now more than ever I’m not sure. I do know that the sheer number of encounters that people are reporting with weird things, not just Sasquatch leads me to believe that there’s more going on than what we think we know. It’s important to keep an open mind in order to see the “big picture.” I don’t have a good feeling about what’s in store for all of us in the near future that’s for sure.

  9. Denise F

Thank you Barbara W. that’s exactly what I meant and saw it do. Now I’ve been reading all about the Flehman grimace. Apparently humans have the organs also on top of their pallet.

    • Scott B

Omg, you are the one! Your encounter is one of my favorites. The visual I had while you were telling your encounter made me feel like I was there. Besides, I love your voice. I could listen to you talk all day. No, I’m not a creep haha ????????. Great job ????.

  10. Steven J

    Denise,

I am with a group of local researchers that have dealt with the Lone Star Trail and Sam Houston for several years now. We would be very interested in talking with you some more about your experiences. Please let me know if you would be willing, and I will give you an email address you can reach us through.

    Sincerely,
    Steven J.

Wonder, when “everybody started running”, if his dad said ‘run’, but the guy (son) was too freaked out to hear it? What is it with people? Had encounters, but still refuse to believe ? Stand your ground? Didn’t work for Mr. ‘Knobby’. He said he kept his fish. Think it’s cool when I’ve listened and he says, he sure wishes he had given the guy a fish. 🙂

Always thought ‘Bear’ was talking about a dogman, in that area? /// Wes, your interview style just gets better and better. Loved both these people. We had to listen again. Thanks Wes.

  12. Mauri G

Great guest Wes, I especially liked listening to Denise’s experiences, she had alot of strange things going on,.Wonder what that dog /deer thing was? The chubaccabra images that are on imternet don’t look deer like. Alot of strange creatures out there!!

  13. Tamsin D

    Wes,
Excellent guest! Both were so credible. I replayed the episode for a second listen.

Wes or Denise….. how large was the hand, or how large an estimate, if the whole hand was intact? I’m going on line to compare skeletal dog paws and skeletal human hands.
Then comparing just the parts Denise mentioned.
Both are used so differently, there must be a difference.!

    As always many thanks. ?

  14. LoraLee A

the dead animals inside the teepees…….. it may be that they put their youngsters in there and bring them animals to teach them to kill. I doubt if bigfoot uses these teepees for shelter. I think they are safe places for the little ones. Playpens.

  15. Doug K

Hey Wes…….both of your guests were fantastic. It never ceases to amaze me about all the different kinds of weird creatures that people are reporting seeing out in the woods. When Denise was talking about the pig and the dog she saw laying dead it makes me remember that I have heard that sasquatch seems to want the liver out of these animals for certain vitamins and other nutrients. I wonder if you have ever heard that before. Thanks for another great programs Wes!! YEEEEEEE HAWWWWW!!!!

  16. Ryan L

@Denise, wow you are the first person that I’ve ever heard talk about the deer/dog thing. I’ve seen them but I kind of bottled that memory up because I thought it was too crazy to even think about. I saw 2 of them in Western PA back in the early 90’s while hiking with friends. 3 of us walked up on them by accident. They just stood there looking at us from 10 feet away. They were tan in color, had a dog face with the neck and body of a deer but a little more powerful, and their tails were short and stood straight up like a white tail deer would have. They made no attempt to run and didn’t even seem bothered by our presence. After a few seconds we got spooked and ran. I’m glad you mentioned this. It’s really nice to finally get confirmation that maybe they actually do exist!

      • Ryan L

@ Denise, no it was really light tan almost beige. I couldn’t see any skin because the hair/fur was kind of shaggy. I wonder if there’s different species? I remember you saying the one you saw was dark but other than that, the physical description that you gave was nearly identical. Especially when you said it wasn’t jumpy like a deer would be or even a coyote. It was very odd to see.

  17. Tamsin D

    Hi Denise,
I was unable to upload the skeletal canine paw and the human hand to the forum and did not want to send a bunch of crap, so I gave up.
However the part of the hand you described; the bones in the canine are much closer together in the dog.
Did it look to be a mix to the two?
I’m just fascinated by your account.

    • Denise F

      @tamson
After I was told it was a dog’s paw I attempted to look at pics of dog skeleton and compare. It was shaped like a human hand except that all bones from wrist to knuckles were close to same length. I guess it’s another mystery I’ll live with ?

      • Tamsin D

Many thanks to your response. I replayed your portion of the episode again today while tending to the livestock. Your recording caught the sheeps attention…… and the cell was in my shirt pocket with volume on high. They ? were very uneasy.

  18. Jonathan B

I heard something vary close to the sound with the exception of it running while making that scream. It went on for over 30mins . at first we thought it was a fox because we was inside when we heard it. As we went outside it was much louder.

  19. Thomas B

    Wes & Denise,
The lip curling behavior you mention during the interview is called a “Flehmen response”. Many mammals exhibit that behavior. It allows the animal to expose vomeronasal glands to certain pheromones and other oders that are of particular interest to the animal. They will often do it around feces and/or urine. Also when females are in estrous, the males of the species will exhibit the behavior in an effort to detect females that are ready for breeding.

  20. Thomas B

    Denise & Wes,
In reference to the canine creature seen with the blue-black skin. Check out images of hairless dogs breeds, in particular the xoloitzcuintli and the peruvian hairless. They seem like a very good match to what you saw. The xolo was included to the recent Westminster Dog Show. A little weird looking for a dog – hairless, blue-black skin, a rat like tail. Sometimes the skin will be mottled with lighter patches. They have become much more popular recently. more than likely what you saw was a feral individual.

  21. Denise F

I meant to add in the height at where I saw the face but had forgotten during the interview. I’m not sure if it was leaning down but afterwards I measured it at about 6.5 ft

  22. m99

Okay, that just gets better, doesn’t it? Every episode is fantastic, and Denise is so right in saying the great things about Wes. God bless you Wes. This site is incredible. One thing I got that I may have not before, if you have them on your property, start calling the cops and make a noise about it, pretty soon they’ll be gone. I guess it would depend on the encounters. Are they aggressive? Trying to get it? Stealing or killing animals? Then yes, I think it’s good to call the law. Anywho, wow.
