SC EP:264 One who runs and hides

I will be speaking to Phil who was out hunting over 10 years ago in Minnesota when he came across an unknown creature. Phil writes, “It was all black and I was shocked how fast it was moving, I have never seen something on two legs run like this thing ran. It ran behind a tree and then came out to look at me…”

I will also be speaking to Jacob who was out driving at night with his girlfriend, and on the side of the road stood two of these creatures. Jacob says, “There was a tall one that stood about 7 feet tall and a smaller one that stood about 5 feet tall. They appeared to have no neck and were proportioned like a football player with shoulder pads on. I was shocked when I saw them.”

    Thank-you.

    Sasquatch does exist in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I’ve camped near LaCrosse Wisconsin. There is many places where Sasquatch could hide.

    I want to thank the guests as well. I know the ridicule is worse here.

      I can confirm they are in wisconsin, I saw one while hunting grouse just north of Elcho, WI and the woods in LAX is very similar to the woods in as Elcho. It was the human-faced type (type 2 I think) about 6’6″ and all black so yeah there in the North Woods of Wisconsin

    Wes, don’t include another show on this website. Start a different website for what you want to do alternatively. You’re show was the first show that I got into to researching Bigfoot and be open to learning about Sasquatch and now I’m a believer, unfortunately not a knower. If your site was diluted with other cryptid/paranormal stuff I don’t think I would’ve stuck with it, I was looking for a genuine and specific topic of Sasquatch, like other shows with multiple paranormal/cryptic topics.. Take a lesson from Vic Cundiff who developed separate show topics. Too bad. You will lose authentic Bigfoot viewers and it will get convoluted. You will lose me and other paid subscribers. Keep it pure.

      Don’t prejudge! I would suggest waiting to form an opinion until the separate show is actually launched so you can see what it is first. He said it will be in addition to SC not mixed and not going to replace anything. Plus, the point of other cryptids is this… Since Sasquatch exists, what other possibilities are out there? Sasquatch in and of itself is an incredible “mystery” to mankind. If you believe they exist, how can you easily write-off other accounts of different living creatures with similar patterns found in logically genuine accounts, over the course of 100s of years. Sound familiar? Why not investigate to determine if these other things are in fact intertwined with Sasquatch in some way or another.

      I agree with Derrick. He makes a very logical point. . .for every decision there are both negative and positive consequences. Unfortunately, your credibility and reputation among the sasquatch community will suffer. Statistically, it is almost certain. . .be very careful which path you choose, and remember it is ultimately your decision Wes.

      I dont see the problem! He could just make a new section u will need to click into, to listen to all the other stuff. No need for two websites or whatever suggested imho!

    As an ex Minnesotan, I know there are some creepy tales from that state. I heard them all EXCEPT any cryptid doglike men, or upright wolves.
    I heard tales of ghost wolves, wolves killing children and friendly wolves but when It came to dogman nobody said a thing. I wonder if it is that ‘ midwestern reserve’ , that stoic spirit that just refuses to let anything crazy and freaky cause them to talk about it?
    After all, I saw freak show thing and all the time I lived in MN I never told amyone. I wpuld have got the stink eye pretty bad, ya you betcha!

    Thanks to the guests and Wes! Hey Jacob.. I lived in Minnesota for 12 years. I have a friend from Virginia who lives in Biwabik now. We used to camp in the same area you spoke of. Didn’t see the creature but if was very spooky at night. It doesn’t surprise me that they are there! I lived in Walker and there are reports around Leech Lake. I live back in Ohio now where I had my own experience. I was on the show back in January. Not sure what episode number was. “You are about to be taken” was the title.

    I like the way Wes interviews His guests! I listen to several paranormal podcasts so my interests go beyond Big Foot. Big Foot is always my very favorite topic though! Go get em Wes:)

    Phil had mentioned that the creature he saw cleared 80 yards in 3-4 seconds. Well that is enough information to translate that into mph.
    80 yards in 3 seconds = 80ft/sec
    80ft/sec x 3600sec = 288,000sec/5280ft = 54.5 mph

    80 yards in 4 seconds = 60ft/sec
    60ft/sec x 3600sec = 216,000sec/5280ft = 40.9 mph
    (3600sec is equal to seconds per hour and 5280 feet is equal to 1 mile)

    Based of of Phil’s observations this thing was traveling 40-54 mph. Something traveling at that speed is extremely fast in the woods, definitely out of the realm of human. Now to me 40mph is plausible, based off of other eyewitness testimonies from SC alone. Stories about them pacing ATV’s and other vehicles. 40 mph seems to be a number that comes up often when describing their speed.

      Hi. Grouse are birds that live in northern half of MN. They like thick brush and pine trees. They are Quick in flight. And can be erritic in there flight. They are extremely good tasting and make for a great meal. Could go on. But that’s a speed lesson.

    Gee Derek, Take your shoes off, have a cup of coffee and calm down. Your mind will be able to handle two shows. I think Wes making the decision for an alternative show will make for the most “positive consequences” and I’m very glad he is doing this. There may be some squatch people that will drop out for lack of forward thinking, but we will see more new subscribers coming on, for their desire of learning more and branching out.     I have been listening too you a little longer than 2 years. And it’s the best bigfoot (sasquatch) show out there by far. So this new show will be great. I am looking so forward to it… Keep it up.
