Proclaimed as “America’s most credible cryptozoologist,” Scott Marlowe spends as much time in camos and boots as he does in a Lab coat and oxfords. A Fellow of the famed Pangea Institute and educational consultant to The American Primate Conservation Alliance, Marlowe is the first expert in the field to succeed in establishing an on-going college course in cryptozoology at a state institution of higher learning anywhere in the world.
His cryptozoology course, hailed as one of the “Top Ten” news stories of 2004 by The Cryptozoologist, a well-known insider eMagazine, has won both accolades and awards for its fresh approach and application of forensic science methodologies to the study of enigmatic animals. Author of “Cryptid Creatures of Florida,” (First published by CFZ Press of Great Britain and now in its second edition published by Pangea Press) Marlowe “literally wrote the book” on Cryptozoology in the Sunshine State. Followed by his “Bigfoot Enigma” and “Bigfoot in Art History” are considered must-reads for any enthusiast for the Big Hairy Creature. Marlowe’s television credits include, MonsterQuest, Is it True, Legend Hunters, Weird Florida, and William Shatner’s Weird or What?. In addition Marlowe has done countless radio appearances, TV guest spots, expos, and lecture tours.

omg!!! sea monkeys!!! i’m still pissed at my parents for not letting me get those. I think it definitely hindered my childhood. lol.
Jacqueline O
Scott Marlowe is fantastic!… met him once when I lived in Florida.
Looking forward to the show!
Wes
Yeah Scott is a good man, I really enjoy hearing him speak about his encounters and his theories. He is very well educated, I would pay to listen to him lecture.
Jacqueline O
Wow Wes, you got a Hot Mess going on here! 😉
You certainly have a diverse audience. What happened to the concept that we, the members, are to not be rude, disrespectful, and judgmental toward your guests?? (jk) I’m trying my best to keep my mouth shut (lol).
BTW Wes, if Scott is unable to read the comments (and perhaps he should not), tell him “Thank You”, and that I really appreciate the hard work and effort he has dedicated toward cryptozoology. We need more scientists with the courage and fortitude to make such a contribution!
This forum reminds me of an episode of the “Twilight Zone” ~ “The Monsters are Due On Maple Street” (Season 1, Ep. 22)
Everyone here should watch it and then re-read the comments…we are undoubtedly just one of the millions of Maple Streets (lol)
The people become their own worst enemies. Perhaps we have fallen into that trap and are unaware that are thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices can destroy…(just a thought)
dean f
How about the guest not be judgemental and condescending. Scott cannot be compared to other guest. He’s mainstream, and being so should be prepared for the inevitable criticism that’s going to come from being publicly exposed. Also it’s not like he gave anyone any reason to be critical of him now did he. As usual Wes was on his game and did an excellent interview, but I’m sure Wes knows by now, everyone is not going to be on same page as in which shows they like or dislike. And as always when someone has a different point of view than yours Jacqueline, you have to put your snotty little two cents in. So I’ll end responding to your post as I usually do…pfffftt.
Jacqueline O
My “snotty little two cents” is mine, not yours. If you, and other members voice your opinions, then I can state mine as well. I have never insinuated or suggested that anyone agree with my opinions or comments…just adding a little food for thought. Try not to make so many assumptions…
Obviously Wes knows his audience has different points of view, and Scott, being a long time researcher, is prepared for the possible condemnation. Personally, I don’t know how Wes does it? Thankfully, it seems he has the strength of mind and character to move forward!
I’m thinking more about the reputation of SC rather than Scott. IMO, I think we should treat ALL guests the same. By trashing the guests we’re only doing a disservice to ourselves. Scott knows many, many people in the sasquatch community, all different types, and now it is possible that he not recommend SC to future guests. Well, that’s not good! We need all the support we can get and SC does not need a negative reputation. Then, “good-bye” SC…no more podcasts, whether you’re here for a great story or your interest in the subject…
I’m just trying to make a point that there are consequences to our actions, and based on human behavior, we tend to not not see the bigger picture until the aftermath. We act out of emotions instead of thinking logically, myself included. Please don’t take any of this personal.
Again, we shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds…
dean f
I apologize, I had a bad day, stressed out and tired, still no excuse for my vent. When I read your comment I blew my jerk gasket.
Out of character for me and should have cooled off and just forgot about it as I usually do. I even looked for a way to delete it after I posted, no luck. Again my sincere apologies.
Daniel S
all good mate hope your happier now, good onya most folks wouldn’t apologise publicly
Jacqueline O
Like Daniel said, it’s all good… if I’ve ever posted a comment that offended you I apologize as well. We all have our bad days, but when two people can genuinely apologize to each other, then that makes a great day! (I can relate looking for that “delete” button…lol)
Line H
Wow I’ve listened to this show 3 times and honestly, if what Scott says is true and his research is sound, never ever will we ever get to the bottom of things. The bottom is an endless pit of cover ups, money, corruption, greed and war.
Robert P
Can’t wait
Beachdude
I’m a Marlowe myself. Wonder if we could be related?
Mark B
Please tell me your first name is Philip. That would be cool

LOL. Tonight you will be visited by 3 squatches.

Squallies… I wish I could unsee that book cover… wow
Charles Michael L
That doesn’t scare me. With teeth like that what with gum disease and all it’s on the downward spiral health wise. I meanits got perodontal gum disease which means its liable to bite into you and have its teeth fall out. It looks like its missing it right upper teeth. Now that’s messed up!

Can hardly wait! I like his stories, and he’s a character. Looking forward to this.

Sounds like a great Sunday show! I will stock up on my favorite beverages and snacks tomorrow in preparation!
Wow. The “squallies” book cover is quite frightening. Very creepy.
William L
Thanks for the link Tracy. Come to find out, Mr. Marlowe is from Winter Haven, FL where my two sons live and only a few miles from Haines City where I went to HS low these many, many years ago. He had a sighting in the Green Swamp, which lies between Haines City and Polk City, an area that I am quite familiar with. Can’t wait till tomorrow night having learned this.
Charles B
Ok when’s this one gonna be active getting bored
Christopher U
Don’t know about US Government experiments, Do know Russia was trying something similar. I will say something else they claim Man and chimps can’t produce viable offspring by natural fertilization because humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes wild Apes and chimps have 24, butt that won’t wash. A male Donkey has only 31 pairs of chromosomes while a domestic horse has 32 pairs of chromosomes. Everyone knows if you aloud a male donkey to mate with a horse you get a mule, And end up with a much better animal than what you had before . It is a frightening thought to entertain the possibility the same might hold true for a human ape hybrid. When you cross the donkey and the horse and end up with a hybrid mule that has a longer life span than ether parent, it is stronger than either parent, and it’s quite a bit more intelligent than either parent. With increased stamena and a longer working life. They have a name for the great increase in desirable traits, it’s called hybrid vigor. And there are several more instances in the animal kingdom look at the lion tiger cross or liger you end up with a huge incredibly strong animal. Just food for thought.
DrAaron
Wow, Christopher, that is great information! I did not know that with regards to the hybrid mule. All chromosomes have a sequence at the ends of the strands that are called telomeres. Geneticists are now finding that the telomere structure protects the lifespan of gene replication and plays a major role in preserving mitosis quality and supporting longevity. It is possible that the hybrid vigor is the result of extra long telomeres. Profound considering that most mules work their ass off on a daily basis? Heeeeeehaw!
Maynard w
If I understand new studies, as we age telomeres break- resulting in aging. If their’s lasts longer, they live longer. How do you think that affects evolution? I believe in evolution, I dont think we have it figured out perfectly.
Doug S
Good point Christopher…however, aren’t mules sterile? It seems that nature has it’s limitations.
Daniel S
didn’t know now know that’s thanks
comments once again provide more PEICES”N”PEICES of info
Charles Michael L
The mule is always sterile. It may have more stamina, and quite stronge along with intelligence, but it can ever reproduce.nope can’t do it.Ligers are the same way in that a lion and a tiger they sterile. They have the equipment, but can’t reproduce. Its weird ho all that stuffhas to line up just right for life to continue on the way it does or we could see some strange stuff.
Maynard w
I believe her encounter. But Kevin Neeland- I feel like I’m watching an episode of ‘Weeds’.
Joyce N
yeah-he was just lookin to score. lol

Invite him back! I was left wanting to know more–Patricia

SCOTT: Please bear with me while I take a stab at a question. Your input is much appreciated.
What is it, in your opinion, that is stopping the scientific community from WANTING to participate in this discovery? Does it not make sense that they would want to be a part of a discovery of this magnitude? Doesn’t a discovery of this magnitude, for lack of a better term, DEMAND a full & fully thorough investigation??
If you see this, thank-you for your time.
~Gabriel~
Gabriel H
SCOTT: if & when this discovery IS made, I anticipate this question being directed by those interested toward the scientific community – Why have you missed this for SO LONG? I mean we’re talking at a bare minimum – fifty years! With the resources we have today yet!!!
The only answer I can see the scientific community coming up with (other than We’ve been suppressed by the ruling class) is essentially – “We didn’t have enough evidence to warrant further investigation.”
To me, such an answer is utter nonsense. There is MORE than enough evidence to warrant further investigation.
Wes
Great question, I wish I would have asked
Avis B
They are called Chimera ….

That’s what I was looking for…tip of my tongue

Great Show!

Loved everything tonight! Thanks Wes and Scott!
Wes
Thanks Linda
Natalie J
Wow. Wish Jay Leno was even HALF the interviewer that you are, Wes. That poor woman could barely tell her story for being interrupted and patronized by the idiots on the show– including its host. So what that she’s a Playboy model — she had something to impart that many of us would actually like to hear & deserves the same respect as anyone else. Infuriating.
Wes
Thanks Natalie
Doug S
I always like to hear views outside the box. As one who believes that evolution is a farce, I still enjoyed the discussion. Keep getting all points of view out there Wes…as you say…we don’t have one in our garage, so we have lots to learn.
Frankie P
WES – You rock, young man! This was a really, really great podcast! Enjoyed it so very much. I have enjoyed hearing Dr. Marlow on other shows, but no one ever asked such interesting questions of him, and, got such a great trove of thing to ponder and think about. Orthepithicus… yep, gotta think about that. Loved the show. Whoop!
Wes
Thanks Frankie
tom m
If you want to see ape/human hybrids for yourself, in the the stands at a SF giants game.

most awesome comment, you have won 1000-pea-nut-bonus points
Wes
lol
John M
What was that crack at the end of the interview all about? “It was almost a pleasure.”
What a pompus, erogant SOB… And that after Wes promoted his new book and web site… I’m a cryptozoogist…. I have a degree… You can sign up for my classes on line and be as smart as I am… Not if you even paid me!
I was almost ready to buy one of his books up until then… Jerk!
Christian L
MEGA DITTO…..hard to listen to that interview without wanting to slap him like the arrogant pretentious nerd he is…….I really liked (sarcasm) when he said the religious right was one of the leading reasons for not making the existence of BF public….I’m glad at least one other person wasn’t enamoured by this guy with High School valedictorian Chess club captain syndrome….no Rah Rah Pom Poms here for Scott. Dogman a military creation? Maybe we improved on DM but credible reports of Dogman as well as folklore predates modern 20th century eugenics by hundreds if not thousands of years…..
stephen M
Yep ! Listen to other shows this creephas been on ! He usually talks more about his education ?????? Than bigfoot! Bigfoot swam herefrom Africa! Or BF ancestors did ! ???????? …..dont think so !
dean f
Agreed John….can’t believe all here who say they enjoyed this. Barely made it through. How many times did he contradict himself?
Jordan J
Agreed… Expert……..umm…….hahahahaha
Intelligence is not defined by amount of education
Wes
Scott said the pleasure was his…skype broke up
Kim
Agreed!
Seamus J. C
“It was almost a pleasure.”??? …I didn’t hear that at all. He said the “honor was all mine”. Where are you getting this “It was almost a pleasure.” thing?
Gordon D
I had a Professor in Bus skool , big ego , knew everything ! He never created a successfull Business in his life !
Joshua M
Very interesting show but the guy seemed like kind of a douche . Maybe that just me i don’t know. Love your show Wes because you touch on other people views about the subject, but I don’t like it when they try to act like they have it all figured out. Keep up the good work though brother!
stephen M
Yep ! Marlowe went to a “seminar” at Harvard and he pulls it out like a gun ! He seems arrogant and has a superiority complex ! The other shows that ive listen to with Marlowe seems thathe has tried to take over as host !thats why ive passed on listening to this show . ….still love SC
Seamus J. C
What you call a “douche” I call a guy who is firm in his convictions but also humble enough to withhold judgement when there isn’t enough evidence. Why call him a douche? The only thing I can figure is that he offended those people who hold dear to the idea that evolution is nonsense. If I am right, then again we are back to the whole science-versus-religion schism on SC (a reflection of the larger schism we have in our society). I wish there was a way for that gap to be bridged more meaningfully than at present (some reasoning, some calling a spade a spade, some name calling, not so much learning from each other). I think the thing to take away here is that the ruling class is manipulating what information we have available to us, and turning us against each other so that we cannot get together against them in numbers to challenge their control, whether that be about BF or other crucial topics like the Environment and our long term survival. What conclusions would we come to if we had all the info available to us that’s out there? If industry did not fund think tanks to provide reasonable sounding disinformation? If evidence were not removed or disappeared? If we didn’t automatically pre-judge each others’ points of view as misguided?
Jacqueline O
Best comment! It’s amazing how the Shepherd can control the “sheeple” with such ease.
Gordon D
Lol , he became , hot air , when he went on about his No Fear of wild animals ,then into his encounter with a group of aggresive squach in Tex , AND NEXT POP OFF ON NOBODY DOING A JANE GOOD ALL TYPE STUDY ! I SMELLED BULLSHITER AT THAT PIONT ! WHY DIDNT THIS FEARLESS SCIENTEST STAY ON THAT TEXAS ENCOUNTER SITE TILL HE REPLICATED ,GOODALLS TYPE RESEARCH ?
stephen M
Definitely not a Marlowe fan ! He is full of himself !! Will catch the next show ! Wes has something for everyone but occasionally he has a show that not everyone will enjoy . still a damn good show !
William R
Enjoyed the show and discussion. Always like hearing different points of view. Too many holes, contradictions, and incorrect statements from this guy. He goes in my “educated moron” file. Still, appreciated the show!
tom m
“Educated moron”. Beautiful.
Chris I
My sentiments exactly…I had to turn it off! Too much ego!
Terry R
Absolutely a fascinating guest tonight Wes, and the most compelling no-kill argument I’ve heard to date. Years ago I had some stuff happen to me while I was out picking mushrooms alone behind some locked forest gates (nothing show worthy). I was anti-kill then, but sat on the fence later and drifted toward the specimen side. After tonight’s show I’m back to the no-kill zone. The only thing they have done to me is to wipe out my mushroom patch, and at that the only thing I could do was laugh.
I’ve left them alone, and for the most part, all they’ve done is let me know that they are in the area. After Scott and the last guest I’ll go back to my old pattern of trust, at least with the ones that are in the areas where I pick.
tom m
Information about our true history is not blocked by the religious right. The left controls the school system and the main stream news in the US. They release nothing. You do the math on that. As for aliens, ufo’s, sasquatch, dogman, giants in America, Mayans in America etc., we get nothing, whether the GOP or Dems run the country. Whomever blocks these topics, has their own reasons for doing so. If it was blocked by one political party, right or left, information would be released by now. This is kept secret above and beyond OUR politics and our wishes.
Paul V
He is ready to run with all the “religious right evidence” but when it comes to “bigfoot evidence”, not so sure.
darren w
Ugh… I think Scott is right on about all this. However…
Can I please go back and take the blue pill..?
MONTE M
WOW
One of the top three if not THE most interesting
SC Episodes ever . It was a barn burner ?
Wes
Thanks Monte
Elizabeth E
Honestly, this guy’s arrogance and self-important attitude is appalling. I have to question how much he truly knows if he suggests feeding aggressive sasquatch near your home. Really? Not everyone is going to like every show, so I will bide my time until the next one and hope it has witness accounts or experts with their southern drawl, or tales from the Indian reservations, or heck, even an update on the planet Maropia would be preferable. I absolutely love the show and have learned much from it. This individual was that rare “miss”.
MONTE M
Scott identifies the best argument for no kill and I totally appreciate that argument . Iam still for bring one in . If the Govt. Would expose the truth and show us what they already have harvested and it’s probably a large number of them ( bigfoot have harvested a lot of people so don’t feel so bad ) then a lot of us maybe wouldn’t feel this way .
Do I feel the deathbed style confession of the South Dakota helicopter Govt Bigfoot harvest story was BS . Hell no . That was a true story . Did the Govt care hell no . Did the Govt share hell no . Did that guy feel guilty yes he did . Did it disrupt that group of Bigfoot and create a distrust of humans . Yes it did . Does it have to happen again ? For the public to prove to the unbelieving public and to save the publics life with awareness in the wilderness and to protect the Bigfoot yes it does need to be done .
Jane M
Thanks Wes. I’m so sorry so many listeners attacked Scott. I felt he may be brilliant and he was trying to impart information simply and basically for the layman listeners as well as spread his theories. He was no bullshit and very smart. I also completely applaud his view point on no kill. He is so humble and open minded that he said many times, I don’t know”, yet he gave as much info as he could.
Carson H
Mr “the layman so I’m not gonna explain something”… Fuck off . God talk about living up to snooty scientist I’m Bigfoot genius researcher #1 stereotype. Good show as always, looking forward to the next. (Sorry, that statement he said pissed me off)
Elise B
He didn’t say it was almost a pleasure, he said the honor was ALL his. Sort of stuttered or broke up, but I think that was it.
Lost me when he started with UFOs and the Bilderberg Group, which he misnamed. Talk about the upper classes or rich people is off target, IMO. I saw a UFO, they are real, but I am not so sure about aliens. Seeing bigfoot deranges a lot of people.
He did seem a little pompous, but unaccountably radio interviews build big egos. meh. Pre-med, big deal.
June P
?
June P
? I get a little put off by mention of politicians and ruling class too. If we stick to Sasquatch that is the target.
That said, I understand that there are’powers that be’ that sweep this stuff straight under the rug and hide the heck out of it. And it isn’t only the “Bushes” or “Trump” types as suggested- it is anyone with a particular agenda— and that includes many people from all political and religious or non- religious backgrounds.
Why not use out them as a species like other animals, I mean come on!!! So many people have seen them! Grrrrrr….gets my Irish up! Just tell us, “yes, you guys are correct they are an actual species!!!”
Daniel S
those apes are only try to keep their own sasquatch-linked DNA hidden, I apologise to any sasquatches offended by my comment.
kevin
I don’t think it’s off topic at all. They are the surpressors of much information.
Seamus J. C
Why is talk about the upper classes off target, Elise? I think it’s right on target.
Carson H
Mr “the layman so I’m not gonna explain something”… Fuck off . God talk about living up to snooty scientist I’m Bigfoot genius researcher #1 stereotype. Good show as always, looking forward to the next. (Sorry, that statement he said pissed me off) and he thinks I’m too stupid to do a google search and I read Bluestar reagent doesn’t detect oils left by fingerprints, it’s a blood detection reagent that triggers a reaction with blood not finger oil so he’s just talking out his ass a bit on that … But then again I can’t figure out the Internet and was probably definitely not reading the manufacturers website… I was probably busy trying to focus on breathing with my simple mind.
June P
Carson, here, here!!!!!, luminol is used for blood detection!!!!!!! I giggled at your last line!
????
m99
~no kidding Carson, you read my mind… I do not appreciate these “scientists” with their snooty attitudes talking down at their hosts, about their audiences, whomever they may be… maybe he can’t help it, but it’s still annoying. I liked how Wes handled him by asking him questions. Good thing Wes doesn’t look down his nose at his collective audience. ~
Knobby
Great guest! Very imformative! I found three things I might disagree with though, but the majority was great.
My 3 things:
1) Irregardless of government experiments in hybridization which may have indeed taken place I don’t know about a new species in Florida being created by genetic manipulation; they’ve been sighted there since long before the modern era. I gathered his only source for connecting the dots from experimentation to a new species in Florida is speculating that could be why some people may describe a different type there.
2) I think Marlow has probably read the many attempts to malign Dr. Ketchum from the onset of her work. He spoke of the samples being contaminated, but her response is they cannot all be contaminated. She got the same results with multiple samples, and “all” of her testing is done in university labs that use washing techniques to remove contaminants.
3) And I might disagree that the religious far right is the major reason the government suppresses bigfoot evidence. I agree with Wes that there are probably multiple reasons. I noticed he had other disagreements about religious people, such as with evolution, and I wonder if he over-emphasizes their opposition to science.
Lee F
I have to agree with you and Shannon, perhaps it would be best if he steered clear of political seas. As a Christian, there is no religious conflict at all, as I see that Sasquatch, in all of its incarnations to be just another one of God’s creatures. And I can accept evolution as a process, not devoid of the divine, but as a result of the divine.
Besides, there does not seem to be an inventory listing on what Noah had on the arc, so who is to say that Sasquatch was not among the other primates, anyway?
Although the whole “What if they are a type of Human as defined by their genus?” raises an interesting question – If they are a type of human, does that make them citizens?
sorry, I hope I have not offended anyone – I went further down this particular rabbit hole that I first intended.
I think Wes’s theory on why the government has suppressed public information regarding this animal is the correct one – follow the money.
Joyce N
1) I agree-The Sasquatch, Gugli, etc have been around a long time before hybridization was a reality- ask a native tribe- they know and have known a lot more about them than we have for a long time.
2) I’m personally, not a fan of Ketchum-I think she may have rushed her testing in order to get a quick answer out to an old question. He raises valid points. Be fair and you’ll recognize them
3) I really don’t understand the reasoning to suppress information about sasquatch, myself. multiple reasons come to mind and maybe all of them are correct to one degree or another. the govt hides a lot-area 51, skinwalker ranch, sasquatch, dogmen. – the answer may be too big for us to process. it may be a real mess – i wouldn’t be surprised.
Seamus J. C
Well put, Knobby.
Daniel S
I think maybe collect two poo samples scoop at both ends, just to be safe
DNA~NON-DNA-END. this (~) meant poo looks, like the poo icon to me.
Jay h
Umm has anyone seen the Billy ape..it’s just a chimp..this guy claims that’s a Bigfoot…hahaha.. Wow another no-it-all thinking a science book about other creatures has anything to do with this species..and for the record we got the DNA of this creature so wtf is left to prove there existence…like Wes said only a body will prove its existence, but only if you can get one past the government MIB ..lol
Seamus J. C
I don’t think he was speaking literally when he called bili apes “bigfoots”. He meant it was the same kind of phenomenon wherein stories were told, some believed them while others did not, etc. At least that’s how I took it.
Jay h
Anyone who truly believes they no of something millions of years ago that occurred ..are in my opinion complete idiots…I hate evolutionists..
Simon P
Like Dinosaurs and the other creatures/plants etc that appear in the fossil record? They occurred millions of years ago and we ‘know’ about them. Are you saying that people who accept the fact dinosaurs roamed the earth are idiots? Evolution has been proven, time and again. A claim written on a clay tablet by an unknown person in the desert 2000 years ago isn’t a fact, it’s a story.
Next time, it would be a good idea to check your spelling before calling other people idiots. Not a good look.
Jacqueline O
Jay, I do believe Eugenics is necessary under certain circumstances…
Jacqueline O
Did you get that?
Or did it fly right over your head?…
Jay h
Wow this guy believes in sea monkeys…OMG I’m done with this dummy.. Its amazing how men strive to search for answers without God in the equation.. . episode 205 (that guy is the only person who’s hit any truth on the subject)..
Jan W
Great interview, Wes. You were very kind and gracious, as always.
I disagree with Scott on most subjects (gifting, no kill), but think it’s vital to share ideas. Thanks to you both!
SHANNON D
I am glad you said it, Knobby.. Maybe Scott should stay out of the political realm, the eugenics proponents were people like Woodrow Wilson, Margret Sanger, and so on, last I checked they were liberal regressives bent on globalism and central planning, just like Hillary Clinton, corrupt to their core, caring only of power and influence.
Trump supporters or most right of center people of the country, and I would say Bernie supporters for that matter also, are just sick and tired of the constant overreach, theft of assets, lying, corruption, secrecy, stall tactics, and so on. We just want the truth on the constant wars, ufos, bigfoot, and globalism, etc.
Does that make us Nazis? It sounds that we have parallel goals with researches like Scott, maybe some one should clue him in…
Seamus J. C
So you’re saying that it wasn’t Rockefeller and Harriman and Grandpappy Bush who were pushing eugenics? Those people were not “bent on globalism and central planning”? It was liberals? That’s hard to swallow, although I agree with you about HRC, I don’t consider her a liberal, but more of a fascist sell-out. I absolutely doubt that Rockefeller, et al, were planning a small-business utopia where local control ruled the day. Quite the opposite. The greater their reach and control, the greater their profits, the better. They were globalists, they sought for central control with their every move. I’m not saying that so-called ‘liberals’ aren’t wanting similar outcomes, but I don’t like to see anyone giving the likes of control-freak cutthroats like Rockefeller and friends a pass. They have a lot to answer for. Consider the idea that conservatives and liberals are two wings on the same beast.
Gerard C
Thanks Wes for another very interesting episode! SC episodes truly are the highlight when it comes to relaxation for me. I think this goes for many listeners. So whenever you have one of those weeks like last week: Know you are helping others relax by working your bottom of, mate!
Wes
Thanks Gerard
Daniel S
just cos ya a playboy model means your not to be taken seriously, kinda sad I understand leno’s running a show but man really.
P.S Marlowe’s correct in Australia Jay could be called a big willie
Daniel S
whoops I meant Anna Marie Godders ? ( hope I spelt surname correct) not Marlowe. I will deduct 500-pea-nut-bonus points from my account
Knobby
I think Scott was dead on talking about due to the foot morphology from the prints we see sasquatches can only be on the same tree that humans are on (homo), not the branch that split off and later developed to form our ape cousins (pan). He pointed out a common fallacy many hold that we evolved from these other apes when in fact our last common ancestor lived long before the development of these two branches (homo and pan).
Seamus J. C
While it is true that we did not evolve from “apes” as we know them, chimps and gorillas, we did evolve from ancestors that were more ape-like than we; that is, they were not bipedal. In fact, the defining characteristic of the genus homo is bipedalism. Austalopithecus, one of the first, was basically an upright chimp with human-type feet. If you go back farther to our common ancestor, the fossils of which have not been discovered, it’s a really good bet that it was basically an ape with perhaps a special feature or two that would later make it that much easier for it to evolve bipedally. This article contains one possible image: http://www.sci-news.com/othersciences/anthropology/science-homo-pan-last-common-ancestor-03220.html…So, we DID evolve from apes, in fact we still ARE apes albeit bipedal and big-brained ones. It’s just that we didn’t evolve from modern apes. I wonder if some people find the idea that we evolved from apes offensive, because apes are dirty, smelly, hairy, primitive, etc. After all, it’s an insult to call someone an “ape”, isn’t it? Perhaps a glace at before-and-after photos of the Canada tar sands, or a visit to a toxic waste dump would show us which kind of dirty and smelly is worse than the other.
Seamus J. C
that’s “glance” , not ” glace”
Jay h
If you think ,(you) evolved from ape like creatures..I guess that’s what satisfies your ungodly mindset , but understand that’s your dumb theory NOT a fact ..sorry buddy..
Jacqueline O
Wow…I’m impressed! You represent “Christ-like” behavior at its’ finest.
Oh the irony…
Lee F
Very good show indeed.
Christopher’s comment about the mule & liger hybrids are absolutely correct but left out the downside about those animals are inherently sterile & cannot produce offspring…
I can understand why Wes said that he disagrees with some of his theories, not that I am critical, he is a very compelling speaker, but the last couple of minutes of the show was a walk down conspiracy lane…not sure that I can give the Ruling Class credit for that much intelligence & planning…. However, the concept of a round Earth was once a controversial subject, so who am I to be critical of his theories?
The native Americans have been seeing these things since the beginning of their time here on Earth, as everyone knows, so the Military Industrial Complex cannot be blamed for creating sasquatch in the first place.
Dogman-well, he might have a point there.
Very interesting idea that Sasquatch may be what we would be before alien meddling…
Again, GREAT show, very thought provoking to say the least…
I will have to check out some of his books.
Seamus J. C
I don’t think anyone said that the military created SQ, the hypothesis is that they tweaked them or hybridized them.
Carson H
Im gonna try not to think too hard here, ouch it hurts… Um , I think (oh god the pain, how does anyone do this) Scott had some valid points and observations ( wow that’s a big word can’t believe it came out ) however a lot of his knowledge seems to be typical known amalgamation (where did that come from ) of Bigfoot /Sasquatch theory mixed with his genius intellect and vast knowledge only a trained scientist like himself could attain .
Christian L
Wile E. Coyote……..SUPER GENIUS!!!!! Oh well……every now and then one gets past the goalie……keep your stick on the ice Wes!!
Judy M
Whether you agree with him or not, fascinating guest. Thought provoking interesting show. Wes, this interview also showed you have quite a bit of knowledge yourself and have done your homework as well. Again, great show!
m99
..can’t wait to hear a “real” interview… I’m sorry, but the way Leno interviews her annoys me so much that I had to turn it off. He reeks (I miss Johnny). Looking forward to her speaking to someone who takes her seriously. Can’t wait….
m99
~kiss my royal butt…
Patti M
Exceptional show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are doing such a WONDERFUL job Wes!
Daniel S
Marlowe simple brings what he knows as scientific facts and his hypotheses on what could be going on, has his work been faulted? one would do their self great justice not to write another’s view off before taking a look for one’s self.
as for the Crusaders vs Archimedes’ type’s maybe …….. science is not religion-religion is not science******P………e
John M
Ummmmm…. You might want to take a look at Man Made Global Warming… Er… Global Climate Change… Er… Global Climate Weirding… If you’re looking for a religion dressed up as a science…
They are talking proscecuting “Climate Deniers”… Is the argument really over?
Tell me… Where did my liberty go?
Daniel S
Liberty… you never had it, unfortunately that goes for me as well
Seamus J. C
Everything gets weird once it becomes tangled up in government, profit, religion and anti-religion. That doesn’t mean you can dismiss it, we just have one crazy making system of (dis)information dissemination. I mean, it’s literally mind boggling. But arguably, the idea that we can burn every drop of fossil fuel on the planet without grave consequences is at least as much a religion as climate change belief can be, because it’s something you REALLY have to take on faith. ExxonMobil has its think tanks, to make it all sound reasonable to you. The environmental movement has its entrenched beliefs that refuse any challenge as well. Just go back to sleep….sleep…..sleep…NO, you have to sift through it all, and decide for yourself, but be ready to change your position if the evidence proves otherwise. And I think you’ll agree that such readiness is very rare to find.
Daniel S
sorry, guess what I meant was religion and science are to me two different tools, are they used together with politics’ sure I agree. also I believe that the system here in my county ( patch of earth defined by boarder) is not perfect and could be better, and truths probably ( shi#t the government will tell you that ) can be denied or twisted, but it’s better to live here than many of the system-less, badly or very corrupt counties most of the worlds population live in, and I do believe liberty is an ideal a great one, but I must ask myself even if I look at nature I do not see such values evident, and I think as humans the title we ordain our selves with we are for the most part dog eat dog.
pam
Marlowe SO reminds me of a Professor that has become tired of trying to explain things over and over- or who comes off as arrogant (like some Dr.’s I have worked with!). However- not an excuse for his snooty dismissive behavior!
Wes- you “done good”; lol.
I will read his book because I think he’s got VERY valid info and points.
Clyde G
I thought the interview was interesting, until the last few minutes when he began to attack -among others – the “evil rich”, the religious right, Trump, and the Bush family. As a member of the upwardly mobile middle-class, I can categorically tell you that I’ve never been given a job by poor person. This guest did seem to have a chip on his shoulderto go along with all of his college degrees. Finally, he completely failed to mention that one of the biggest supporters of eugenics ever was that wonderfully progressive President Woodrow Wilson.
stephen M
Degrees??? Not sure he has post grad degrees! I i tried searching info on this fraud ! He does have an associates degree according to the pangea crapola website that he started . he states that he attended a summer seminar or something at Harvard . he also states that he has traveled the world with archaeological ambitions or something to that affect ! He has got “little man syndrome” or just didnt get enough attention from mommy or daddy ! I cannot beleive most of the people on these commentary’s fell for this crap !
Ray R
Thank you Wes
Amanda B
Any chance we can go back to encounter stories rather than book authors.
Chris I
Amen sister!
Martin Z
Hey Wes, that word you were thinking of, was it mutants? Or maybe genetically engineered? Anyways if you read up on the Sumerian tablets in the books written by Zachariah Stitchen, it will tell you about the hairy creatures that were created before man. These creatures were created by using what was already on this planet crossed with the Annunaki DNA and you get sasquatch. Sasquatch were uncontrollable so it was back to the drawing board. The Bible mirrors the Sumerian tablets. The tablets were written at least six thousand years before the bible yet it speaks of Adam, Noah and the great flood. Chexk it out, you’ll be amazed to see what our rwal history really is. Thanx for you awesome shows.
Doreen Dee S
I understand what he is saying about feeding them Wes, if I took a job in a zoo I would be expected to “know” that they are wild animals and safety would be a major requirement, loads of training. To move into the woods and “know” they can be there, you have to expect to be treated no differently than working in a zoo except they aren’t in cages! Sounds stupid and simple but then again, what are we doing out there looking for them when we have been warned many times that they can be dangerous. I don’t know what they are, I have never seen one, but I am interested in the research aspect of them. I have sat down with Chester Moore, he has some great stories and encounters, an amazing person. I have purchased property specifically to do that research and will invite Chester (and a few others) to give their personal and scientific opinions. Your guest is very “adapted” to the scientific world, his opinions are his opinions, and I respect that. He is however, a person who has chosen to go out and get his own information about sasquatch. It takes a unique person to put himself in the crypto world from a scientific viewpoint. Cudos Sir on your endeavors. Stay safe out there. Thanks again Wes, the show was great.
Joyce N
very true, Doreen.
Gordon D
THAT TREE HUGGIN NUT JOB HASNT BEEN WITHIN 100 miles of a squach !
Joyce N
now now, Jane Goodall didn’t pack heat and had her arse kicked badly by the chimps she was working with. she gained a lot of insight to them by doing it her way, and i’m sure people thought she was nuts doing it that way. if he can get in and around them and accepted by them, and learn more about them, then i say-more power to him, i’m sure they won’t make it easy for him to join the club. Bob Garrett on the other hand, packs heat and has learned to live and let live with some groups of them. maybe it’s just the difference inn family groups like there are differences in groups of humans who knows?.
stephen M
Agree!
Dave H
Great show, and a great discussion and debate, with a man who made a lot more sense than some of the other theorists who’ve appeared on the show in the past.
JON F
Hear hear
JON F
I found the guest well informed, obviously well educated, and entertaining. The layman statement, while a blanket statement, I do not think was meant to be insulting. I think he meant he could drone on about stats, genetic lines, in scientific jargon and the like and most would find it boring. So he cut to the chase to the “meat and potatoes” if you will. Just my opinion.
Tony s
I was very excited to hear this interview. While I did find him to be arrogant,I thought he brought up some good points too. And let’s face it members…. It’s not like we haven’t heard the “I’m a Bigfoot God” shit before. Wink wink.
This is a tough crowd and an even tougher subject matter. It was nice to hear a guest talk cogently about primate evolution and I personally would like to hear more from that arena. Hooded nose and parallel toes!!!! I wanna hear more! Thanks again Wes, you are a badass.
Tony s
To the feeding behavior issue… If Bigfoot is at all human, all rules that apply to wildlife are no longer valid. You would have to treat them like a neighboring or even potentially hostile tribe. A sack full of apples might not cut it. It would be more about primitive politics than food based habituation. I wouldn’t threaten them but I wouldn’t be feeding them. Maybe planting a food plot in the woods for them would be a better course of action. I think Bob had the right idea by making the over sized fish trap.
Susan C
Wow, what an amazing show that was!! Definitely in the top 5 of all time. I really enjoy hearing from the scientific community. More please!
Joyce N
The only thing he said that was inaccurate was re:luminol
The basic idea of luminol is to reveal these traces with a light-producing chemical reaction between several chemicals and hemoglobin, an oxygen-carrying protein in the blood. The molecules break down and the atoms rearrange to form different molecules . In this particular reaction, the reactants (the original molecules) have more energy than the products (the resulting molecules). The molecules get rid of the extra energy in the form of visible light photons. This process, generally known as chemiluminescence, is the same phenomenon that makes fireflies and light sticks glow.
Scott does have a smugness about him but I think that’s due to all the criticism he’s probably been given in the past. He’s straight up about what he knows. He’s straight up about what he believes to be b.s. I don’t have a problem with that. I think a great discussion could be had between Scott and Bob Garret. Both know alot on the subject. Maybe if Scott saw what Bob has experienced, he’d be apt to understand why it’s necessary to have a gun handy. If he spoke to the ambulance drivers and Tracy and understood the fear these creatures induce is sometimes founded. Has he read the 411 books by David Paulides? Depending on some different perspectives and gathered information, he may come to find that he’s been verrrrry lucky.. or, he may be able to show Bob, Coonbo and Bear other methods to reach a better understanding and get better research accomplished. Just remember, Scott-Don’t talk down to those boys, or you may have your @ss handed back to you. These boys have been around learning about these things for a long time as well. They may not be book smart, but they are intelligent none the less. A degree doesn’t make you more intelligent. Knowing how to communicate and reach people does. Gathering evidence and information will only strengthen your results. Always try to be respectful when doing it. Our Wes here is a fine example of how to speak with people and gain insight without ripping someone else down. He may not agree , but he does respect. Just a thought. I do thank you for your input. You’re not the first to say guns weren’t necessary but if we’re talking different types-there could be more aggressive ones with lower tolerance and shorter fuses. Or maybe they’re actually groups who have experienced more deaths to their members or encroaching on their territories or more abuse in their area from humans d now they’re fighting back. who knows for sure. But regardless-let the research in all areas continue because it’s all valuable.
Jacqueline O
Well said Joyce!

Your right Wes,..Do not feed.. There are other ways…Good interview….Does anyone remember in the 80’s when England was trying to mate a male gorilla and female human?…..Ciao
Joyce N
i thought that was in Russia and it got shut down. wasn’t in the 80’s though.. i’ll have to look into that.

Although Marlowe sounded like he got up on the wrong side of the bed, what he had to say was interesting to consider.
Unfortunately, as many older educators have evolved (pun intended) to become bitter and jaded in their respective teaching positions, it’s necessary that they retire from the lecture hall “circuit.” Perhaps coordinating an online class would be the best for him as well as the students. Cheer Up, Marlowe!
Jamie m
We are all slaves ruled by psychopaths wake up great guest loved this show the truth coming out
Kim
Are you scared, really scared, I am! And what about the lizard people? I heard one growl on the phone message from the man that recently went missing! Really scared!
Joyce N
no sense in being scared, Kim-these things have always been here. the native tribes said it’s all natural to the earth-it’s all necessary to the balance of things. i know nothing of the lizard people i’ve always chalked that up to people taking the V series too seriously. I’ve seen no evidence of lizard people- snakey people -yes-but that’s a different topic altogether. calm down, maintain. it’s all par for the course. whatever it is-is what it is. in this life, with the technology we have and the deviant minds that run rampant-anything can be faked. stick to what you see and know to be true- the rest will work itself out.
Maynard w
If you find out about online courses please let us know. Agree or disagree I’ll take it.

HELP ! can any listener please help me find the episode about the mom and baby and husband who got stranded in the tent till morning and the bigfoots was outside her tent and she was scared that her baby was going to wake up, and she went to the river before sunset and was messing around and did a woop call and she heard movement across the river and she knew she messed up
Maynard w
Sounds familiar. Any idea approximately when it was or what other encounters were on that episode?
chris t
No I’ve been looking and cant find it

Hey Wes, the pyramids were made of poured concrete set in place using molds. It’s been proven. Look it up.
EDWARD D
Great guest…more like this please….!

Interesting but the religious right have to power at all. I mean come on. It’s all about money but I guess he’s too smart to see that. People are being dumbed down which makes them easier to control.
Seamus J. C
I am glad to see a range of reactions to tonight’s guest. He is articulate, and informed, no matter what degrees he may or may not have. Anyone remember that Einstein failed math? I see him as having gotten little credit for his humility–there were several times he said “I don’t know” because he felt he lacked evidence, and other times where he went to great pains to make clear that what he was stating was not proven fact but theory, and then he even backed off of that and said “hypothesis” once. And yet, many here in this comment section have been eager to label him, with not a little bit of hostility, as arrogant, saying he was talking down to people. I see this in part as anti-intellectualism. A person uses big words, and they’re a “snob”. A person insists on scientific rigor, and they’re tree hugging frauds. A person is firm in the conviction of things they feel have been proven, and they’re arrogant. A person becomes an expert in their field, and yet we want them to give as much credence to our own views as their own, even if we haven’t taken the time to lay them out logically, or research them systematically. When I was in Europe, at any given time you could turn to some station on the TV and be treated to nothing more than an intellectual, a thinker, talking about a given subject. Here, ratings, hositility towards educated people, and perhaps a concerted effort to dumb down the public, mean that intellectuals are seen publicly only in certain narrow niches if at all. I think if a person has spent a great deal of time researching and thinking about a certain topic, that they are entitled to a certain amount of firmness in some of their views. The mark of a good intellectual is that, when they don’t know something, they say so; when they do know something, they say so, clearly and firmly. This does not mean I think that intellectuals are gods, or are even always right in every view. This becomes obvious when you see two intellectuals debate different sides of an issue. But it doesn’t mean they merit to the kind of nasty attacks people level against them when they speak with conviction.
Joyce N
Seamus? Dear heart, I’m never intimidated by big words. I don’t think people that use them are snobs-I work with doctors- I think they and what I was referring to was the scoffs in between answers to questions he appeared to think were beneath him. He demonstrated frustration-true, not necessarily a snob reaction, but still, when people don’t know you-they wonder about the reactions you make. Nothing wrong with conviction, but, understand when you make a statement re: not carrying guns and fight vehemently against it-people like Coonbo, Bear and Bob will most definitely beg to differ Wes has experienced what they have experienced first hand, and that’s why he differs. He tends to come off defensive about it without the experiences of what other people may have witnessed or considering that in other areas possibly different types of sasquatch are more volatile ( or vocitile as our beloved Bob G would say) There’s a couple times he comes off that way. Go back and take another listen. I’m willing to listen to what Scott has to say but I merely suggest that he cools it a bit, relaxes, breathes and understands we have a large range of people here coming from all different walks of life. . We all understand the frustrations of not being heard or believed -So when you come here it’s simple-respect. that’s all. We want to hear your observations, how you handled it, what was the outcome but to broadly say guns aren’t necessary.. um, well, that’s not going to fly. It’s not all negative-He raised some good points. It’s admirable that he does what he does. He’s got a good bit of frustration and maybe rightly so-But we’re a new group of people- We have no prejudices unless we feel like we’re prejudiced against. Personally, he didn’t upset me-but I understand , working with doctors that sometimes there’s a language barrier or gap between doctor to patient- If you’re not medical you don’t necessarily understand certain terminology. That’s where I come in to bridge those gaps or discuss with Doctors what they want to express or say hey, they called, they don’t understand-try it again-here’s their number. I smooth ruffled feathers – I let the patients know they have every right to stop the doctor mid sentence and say hey, i don’t understand-help me out with that. Now medical is not sasquatch research. But I was never too ignorant to look up something I don’t understand so I could keep up. I don’t feel bad if I don’t have a particular knowledge about something- In this day & age-it’s just a few keystrokes away from being answered. But again, not everyone is computer savy. So they need to feel like they can ask questions no matter if everyone else knows the answers or not. It’s just common courtesy. And I dunno if you noticed, but that’s lacking alot this day & age-especially on the internet. So I hear you too, Seamus. If everyone pulls back and gives a little- we’ll all be just fine. We’re all hard working people that are valuable in the fields we chose to do. All of us- Maybe you’re a contractor-I couldn’t build a house if my life depended on it. Maybe Jacqueline is a veterinarian- I couldn’t heal a horse but I may understand her procedures. So every soul here is intelligent and knowledgeable in their own rights. We should be like King Arthur and the knights of the round table-Know why the table was round? Because every person sitting at the table was equal, valuable and respected for what they brought to said table- a king sat with his knights. at a round table. He did not hold himself higher than the men who fought for him. Get it? I knew you would 🙂
Kurt S
One of the best shows you’ve done Wes. Kudos for keeping it rolling on all sides, theories and subject matter.
Joseph M
Well, all I can say is…I would have had to unload on this “expert”. I dont think I have ever heard such a pretentious left wingnut as this guy. Lets see…he wove Bigfoot, Aliens, Bilderbergers, Red Headed Giants, Eugenics, Nazis, and Donald Trump into is flight of fancy. He prolly ran outa time before he could get Nessie, the Twin Towers, and The Monuments of Mars into the conversation.
Let me see now…
1. The Skunk Ape is, woops, I mean Swamp Ape, is an escaped government gene-spliced clone from the 1920s that was let loose in the everglades.
2. He know rifles…he has shot a rifle before…”real well”… and he would never carry a rifle into the forest cause Bigfoot would tear you limb from limb if he saw it
3. You should “gift” with them if you want to move into “their house”.
4. The suppression of Bigfoot is the fault of the “Religious Right”…good grief…and its Donald Trump and George Bush’s fault. Christ Almighty…George Bush (the left wing boogie man) is at the root of every left wingnut conspiracy.
5. Grover Krantz gets a nod from him…lol
6. “I love animals. They dont frighten me. Before I do anything I study them and I know what to expect”… So he knows what to expect from Bigfoot. lol whatever
7. All the Bigfoot encounters where they were agressive was becase someone was running around carrying a rifle.
8. The Russian Almasty only kills when someone has attacked it or its family…just ask Igor… Now how the hell does he know that. He has no idea why any Sasquatch attacks. Does he commune with them with his telepathy?
9. Bigfoot takes revenge… Again this is speculation. He is assigning human urge to in his own words an “animal” and to top it off he does not have a problem with vengence.
10. By his own admission he is a “radical”
11. If you kill one and it is the papa, you dont know what you are doing to its ecology. By killing one papa, you could wipe the enire species out… This guy is a scientist?
12. He has ZERO tolerance for nuances. whatever
13. The Bili Ape is a Bigfoot… Really? Because you declare it to be so? Where is your proof? Which REAL ACCREDITED scientists have stated that the Bili Ape is a Bigfoot? Please show me some EVIDENCE of a REAL SCIENTIST stating the the Bili Ape was a Bigfoot
14. Here come the people out of the woodwork because the dont believe in evolution.
15. Bigfoot would adapt to man being in the same area…ABSOLUTELY. How the hell does he know this Absolutely?
16.They have no reason to dislike us… Where does he come up with this? How does he know what Bigfoot may like or dislike? Telepathy?
17.They are like all mammals… They are? You know this for a fact? Please show us the evidence or once again you are making it up as you go.
18.In the beginning Bigfoot was treated like he was one of us. Then something happened. They began to get persecuted…roflol
19. The Bushes and other “big wigs” are behind the Nazis and Eugenics… More Bush boogey man. Let it go. The Bushes are gone…lol. Nazis are SOCIALISTS.
20. When I hear the missing link stuff I go bananas.
21. He knows “Bill” Shatner.
22. The US is turning into Nazi Germany.
This is a scientist? OMG, this is too funny. This guy makes this load of crap up, puts it in a book, and people actually buy it? HE DOES NOT HAVE ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE FOR THESE DECLARATIONS.
Joyce N
lol…Bill Shatner, i’m sure he’s a lovely man, but sasquatch expert he’s not-just taking over temporarily for Nimoy-who isn’t here to slap him and say ”knock it off, Bill”
Gordon D
LMBO ! BULLSEYE ! JOSEPH M.
Duke S
Wow, excellent and flawless breakdown on everything he said, I must say I agree he comes across as arrogant and I would love to take him squatching with Bear and Coonbo, lol! But honestly, to be fair, he is no different than most of the other dogmatic hypocritical left-wing nutjobs that rule academia and refuse to look at the evidence for Bigfoot, so YES, HE IS A SCIENTIST…THAT’S YOUR EXAMPLE OF AN “OPEN-MINDED” ONE. Draw your own conclusions, I know nothing he said has altered my opinion one iota.
Craig M
I much prefer Wes and normal people who have had experiences, most of the “experts” bore me to the point that I don’t bother listening to the whole episode.
Andrew B
If I’d have had an encounter and some dipshit reporter or ‘interviewer’ such as Jay act so sarcastic and condescending I’d tell hm to Fuch off!
Andrew B
It’s so strange to hear Mr Marlowe repeat over and over how disciplined and delineating the “scientific community” is on accepting a narrative / or promoting a “position” — yet so many scientist fools try to say our SUVs, freon, and cow farts are going to make the oceans boil and polar bears die from sunburns in scorched landscapes. So ‘disciplined’ in one instance yet such ‘whores’ in another.
Sunny N
Such unkind words. If you attack guests, expect not to have many. You don’t like a show? Hit stop and move on. No need to cut people down as doing so shows that the arrogance and pompous attitude is not the guests but your own. Be kind.
Joseph M
I was being very kind. To use his own words… I have “ZERO tolerance” for pretentious *#^@&#. Especially when he thinks proclamation equates proof. But, I dont have to be kind to him. I am not the host. I do think Wes was very tolerant though. I am happy that he did challenge him on gifting. It was rather funny to see the guest back peddle and sputter his words when challenged. And in the future, he should leave his politics at home.
Jacqueline O
Joseph, why so angry and judgemental? Sunny is right on target!
Joseph M
I am no more angry or judgmental than the guest…yet you call me out? If you are going to claim something as fact, then you should be able to stand up to a little scrutiny. Otherwise write comic books and dont claim you are a scientist.
Gordon D
Lmbo ! Joseph , the guy was arrogant as hell ! He sounded bitter to me , but heck Iam just dumb laymen , little bus man $ $ $, $ $ $, $ $ $
Joseph M
Exactly Gordon, had he been just a little more tolerant and open minded of others, I would have never commented. But hes just like a typical tenured professor. Small minded and egotistical. boom-yow
Stan B
Sorry @Sunny N but we are not school children, we don’t need people like yourself telling us what to write and what not to! Don’t forget forums are a place for opinions, i think you’d do better keeping yours to yourself. Just an opinion!!
deborah m
I have listened to this show several times and it leaves me wanting more every time. Wes if Scott does work online with our uni’s in oz please let me know because im in. Just loved this show well done great interview. Cheers
Jeff M
What is the difference in shooting one and one dying naturally or even being struck by lightning. Would that not also disrupt the group. Everyone claims they are so smart and I believe they are as well, then I believe they can adapt and survive just fine. Mr. Marlowe is over thinking with a pious attitude.
Maxim K
@Andrew B – so true, and that’s because they will lose all of their government grant money if they don’t go along with the political agenda.

Wes, I don’t know if you’ve heard of Oliver the humanzee, but check this out.
Jacqueline O
RIP Oliver
I remember when they found him, after he spent nine years in a small cage at the Pennsylvania lab… it was soooo sad… it made me cry. I was an undergraduate working on my B.S. (biology), and knew my path was to work with animals in their natural habitat.
Although it was determined that Oliver was indeed a Chimpanzee, it would be interesting to study his offspring and the congenital traits, if allowed to reproduce. If his unique genetic variations and idiosyncrasies were both inheritable and advantageous for the surrounding environment, it is possible that over many generations a sub-species could evolve. Oliver’s distinct genetic profile is a great example of the evolutionary process!
Joyce N
yeah. i don’t know what that was all about, but when you see the documentary-Oliver preferred human women, not chimps. The trainer lady that had him said he preferred human companionship. She could tell Oliver to take a wheelbarrow, fill it up with straw and take it to another location-he understood her and he’d do it. Even sat in the house watching tv and smoking cigars. She had to get rid of him when he tried to bend her over. I thought the dna test was inconclusive, he ranked between a human and a chimp, so he really wasn’t either. Kinda spooky. I am glad they found him and got him out of that lab and placed him with that chimp rescue group. His last days were much better.
Robin B
The ‘e’ word, *gasp! Lol!
Excellent show! One thing I was a bit disappointed in though, ..scott is incorrect about the Native Americans ‘persecuting’ the red headed giants. The giants raided their camps, stole their women and raped them and ate their children. I have never heard such an opposite story. I hope no one believes such a wrong tale. Other than that remember, Bigfoot stories and legends are much older than before the nonindigenous came here. Thank you Wes! ?
Gail d
The religious right, please the government hate Christians so much and would like nothing better then to prove them wrong.
While he is obviously very intelligent his arrogance is unbelievable.
stephen M
You hit the head on the nail. Gail
Bruce D
This is excactly why I can’t stand the forums…The bigfoot community apparently doesn’t leave their porch..or computer..hey, maybe they are BBQing and maybe they are quilting or guess what, maybe they are finding a new game to play ..for all of us to join in on..this is sad.
Matt f
I enjoyed it wes even though I agree with you about not agreeing with everything he said. One thing I never gave thought to was when he threw out the comment about “is it possible that bf is what humans would be if they hadn’t engineered humans” that caught my attention.I too believe we aren’t the only technological advanced race to inhabit this earth. Thanks again wes for another entertaining show.
Joseph M
“is it possible that bf is what humans would be if they hadn’t engineered humans” that caught my attention.I too believe we aren’t the only technological advanced race to inhabit this earth.”
He just rehashing old Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval books I read in the 90s. (Minus the BF)If you want to read real “scholars” read their books.
Duke S
So the religious right have control of this country, the Government and the Military-Industrial-Intelligence community AND Academic science? I could never say that and keep a straight face, OMG I can’t believe he said that!!! I mostly agree with Scott on everything else he said, but habituating as ANY reputable forestry/zoology/animal behaviorist will tell you, is both stupid and dangerous. Give me a break!

Good comment Duke . I have googled this Marlowe fraud before . I don’t know or can’t find his education accomplishments , degrees etc ! If anyone finds out let me know ! Unless he has an advanced degree in the related fields he claims to be an expert on he is a proven fraud !

Listening to this episode, the mystery of Bigfoot is over. We had the pleasure of listening to the one and only expert on the subject. Now What???
Stan B
C’mon Wes please, weaponisation of Bigfoot really? I can’t think of anything more pathetic & stupid. I thought this was a sensible website, the only person talking any sense at the moment is Will Jevning and his podcast. I love this subject it’s fascinating but this is the type of thing that gives us all shitty names, lets get back to reality before we lose it altogether!
Stan B
Does anyone realise that there is not one expert in the world of Sasquatch? It winds my goat up when i hear the term expert. An expert is someone who has studied their subject for years, playing guessing games because thats all they are does not constitute an expert! Garrett is supposedly an expert and lauded like a king on this website, yet for all his so called experiences he’s not got one piece of evidence to show their existence. People seem to hang off every single word of his, WHY? I have grave concerns about Garrett, but god help me in the backlash if i printed them. But I’m close to!

Now I’m a fan. Really enjoyed this Scott Marlowe episode. Thanks Scott and Wes!

After listening to your interview/conversation with Scott Marlowe, I have come to the following conclusion: BOY, AM I GLAD I AM OLD!!!
This “Brave New World” sounds exactly like the place I WOULDN’T want to live. What with genetic engineering, tampering with DNA, to whatever means, sounds, at best, SCARY, to the Nth degree.
Thanks, but, NO THANKS!!! Just leave me out of the equation.

I want to say this with all due respect, but I really have to say I disagree with some of what Scott is saying. Feeding one of these animals is bad advice. I feel like Scott realized this after he said it, but is sticking by his advice to avoid admitting he’s wrong. I am sure he is much more knowledgeable in Anthropology than your average-Joe but that doesn’t automatically boost his credibility in this specific area. Please don’t feed these animals if you have them around.
I would like to say, again, respectfully as possible, that I do not appreciate Scott saying that “Some of these topics might be high-balling for a lot of people.” I know that a lot of us don’t have an advanced degree, but that doesn’t mean we are unintelligent or have the inability to LEARN about the topic.
Scott, you have a lot of knowledge about a lot of things, and thank you for coming on the show. Please though, realize that your audience will appreciate what you have to share much more if you don’t take yourself so darn seriously.
Thanks again for a good show, Wes.

Wow! I’m a fairly recent member now turned addict! I’ve been listening to all the older podcasts, and it’s entertaining!
This one is, by far, is my favorite! Scott reminds me of the many scientists I known. Science is truly the only mechanism to move us forward. There’s a place for believers in science we just need to recognize that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Cryptozoologist aren’t main stream scientists as of yet but Scott is an excellent ambassador in science for cryptozoologists. Thanks Wes for having the intestinal fortitude to speak to people who state that all evidence as to the existence of Sasquatch, as of now is, anecdotal.

As often happens, this man is very knowledgeable but lacks wisdom. Intellectual knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing. He is full of knowledge but tends to be arrogant.
Irene H
He is suggesting gifting them, when according to Science, adequate studies have not been done to prove their existence, much less if this is the smart thing to do.
Stephen D
I know we members were asked not to criticize the guests, but this bum is far educated past his intelligence.
Stephen D
… And I don’t enjoy him indirectly insulting the host and the other guests from the last 218 episodes who came on this site scared to death to even talk about their encounters. Shame shame shame!
John H
I thought this is one of the more fascinating interviews to date. Yes, Scott comes of as arrogant and pompous, but he is very well educated on the subject and has some great insight into what they could possibly be and their origins. I also like that he wasn’t expecting Wes to be some knowledgeable on the subject. SC has always been about The Message not the Messenger.
Stephen D
Still the theory of evolution. Is there a complete skeleton of oh let’s say Lucy or any of these Latin named partial skeletons? Just food for thought.

I greatly enjoyed his dedication to the scientific method within the Bf research space,
however, the guest seems to spend too much time criticizing other “researchers, enthusiants, observers”
opinions and ideas. As Wes constantly reminds the audience, no one is an expert until they have one in the flesh
to study in a lab realtime. Enough with the high brow down talking about others within the community.
The arrogance that he displays some of the times during the talk to me is very ironic, considering mainline scientists, anthropologists,
and zooologists would criticize, mock, and downtalk someone just like him who actually has had several real encounters and takes
the existence of this species seriously. Great guest and great research. But please tone down the arrogance and stay humble. Too much of the Bf community thinks they know it all and have all the answers, while everyone else are just crackpots and fanatics. Anyone who is dedicated to this field seriously needs to remember to keep their head down and remain open minded.

I am very interested in hearing as many viewpoints as I can access. It’s not WHAT Scott is saying, it’s HOW. He can impart whatever wisdom he is willing to share with us without being condenscending. Many gifted and talented scientists are able to do this regularly. In fact, I agree (and came to these viewpoints in my own way) with about 80% to 90% of what he’s saying, but damn, he was HARD to listen to, even though I nearly completely agree and was very interested in hearing what he has to say! Wes’ humble and respectful style was in great contrast with his hubris. God forbid if you don’t mention every book that he has written! The highlights of the show, for me, was when Wes held him to a few things, like, is he really recommending people feed these things?? There were a few other points that Wes held his ground on, even though Scott employed the typical egomaniac tactics of raising his voice, avoiding the question, or insinuating that science is an untouchable GOD that no one without it’s credentials has the capacity to think reasonably or logically. Wes, respectfully and with the humility only great men possess, reiterated that he’s not a scientist while still posing completely legitimate questions under the oppressive pressure Scott was hiding behind. Wes, you held your own well, and you kept pace commendably and you have my admiration and respect. You handled him better than I would have. Your business is harder than most people realize. Scott is a pariah for more reasons than he is willing to admit. Also, his logic is not as impeccable as he pretends it is. He contradicted himself a number of times. I have my reservations about reading his books, I may or may not, I’m still undecided. But for the attitude there would be no hesitation. If I had him as a professor (why is he teaching at a community college when he was accepted to and studied at the greatest universities in the Universe?), and I’ve had professors like him, I’d be talking to the Dean.

Extremely late comment. I think we have a very sophisticated and well versed membership here. Have you ever been so knowledgeable regarding a subject that a lot of people are goofing up, and it’s an important subject which involves ecosystems, etc., that when you speak of it after spending your life working on it, that the frustration you feel with others playing around with it, just pisses you off? I don’t think Scott is a bad guy , but I do think he needs to take a vacation, some of it or a lot of it sseems to have taken over his attitude towards others so maybe not real strong emotionally right now, too close to the forest to see the trees. He brought some valid points, but no I didn’t care for his tone. I don’t think textbook stuff has ever really impressed people who have had the hell scared out of them when speaking on the common subject but apparently he had an encounter so not entirely unempathetic.
Wes did a great job of placating this guy’s self inflicted overego and he confronted him on a subject or two. I thought it was interesting the fact that Scott didn’t care what happened long term to the witness he suggested feed the sasquatch, he was more interested in having a ready answer to the question, pretty cold and black and white. Kind of shall if you ask me. I’m with a lot of thenother members, no more expert experts, haha. Give me the good old boy and girl stories.
Linda B
Kind of shallow, doggone it.
craig d
Hair samples can be washed, thats utter bullshit. Here’s another point, if contaminated with human DNA surely the nuclear DNA would be that of the contaminate! i.e.Human but its not its unknown therefore just a crock of utter bollocks invented to crap on the results. Sasquatch are a human hybrid …. but what have they been crossed with??
Blanche D
Really interesting episode. I see a lot of triggered folk here. That said, given I am not as informed as the guest, I will keep an open mind about what he discussed. Love to have him back on.
Delia D
Very interesting guest,. Appreciate the great principles and theories mentioned! But have a little couth dude with your host. Luckily Wes is a gracious host and treats his guest with dignity and respect.

God is real and evolution is a lie!

This person went from premed to cryptozoology, lol that’s funny. This guy is a fraud. A good background check will tell you just who this guy is.
