I went to see them myself and am still very intrigued. Are we seeing evidence of bear, heron or sasquatch? Perhaps a combination of multiple animals using the sites at different times?

If the red branches are old growth, maybe “it” is “pruning” the trees to promote new growth. Dumb idea?
