I lived in that little town of Christianburg VA in the early 90s, the New River is south of there, route 81 crosses over. The area of this story is close to the area of the more famous story of the man who claimed to have shot a female bigfoot in a tree on a Thanksgiving morning that was then carried up a rock cliff by a huge male as told by the individual in that SW part of VA. Many of you have probably listened to the interview including the visits from the govt. I’m sure Wes can verify if I recall it correctly.
