I knew all this back in the early 1990s when I read Stanton Friedmans in depth investigation into the Roswell Alien crash(s) from July of 1947. He published his book Crash at Corona, indicating 2 crashes actually occured. Maybe the crafts hit each other. Many people in Roswell were threatened, even by death, should they disclose what happened at that time. Later in life some came forward.
On a side note I have a close friend and back in high school and in college when we palled around she would go to New Mexico every summer to visit her Grandmother. This was in the 1970s. In the 1990s when I jumped into the UFO scene big time she informed me her Grandmother lived in Roswell all her life and that I should talk to my friend, Sandy’s, Mother. All right and we did talk for about an hour all on UFOs and I found her Mother knew a lot. When I asked her about Roswell she would only say ” Chuck – everything you heard about Roswell is true. She was a child at that time frowing up in Roswell. However she would not elaborate one any of my questions and had a stern look. I would guess that she was afraid to give any details as her Mother in Roswell was still living.
