In May of 1973, a man named Mariln Ayers recorded a strange howl outside of Puyallup, WA, after multiple witness had reported seeing a Bigfoot near a large gravel pit.
While there are many other recordings of Washington State Bigfoot, the Puyallup Screamer has a certain ionic 1970’s WA State vibe to it.

Yep, OMG. That one always amazes me. Puyallup has really grown up but back then maybe not so much.

Like what I heard on JBLM

I investigated this for John Green and heard the recording when I met with Ms. Ayers. I spoke with three of her neighbors whom had also been hearing these vocalizations as the creature apparently walked along a power line. I was also able to interview the State Trooper who saw it cross the road right in front of him. This part of “South Hill” was far less developed then than today. I set up a vigil on that power line with three other friends and we did hear it one night. Some have subsequently claimed it was a coyote but having been there to hear it first-hand, I can say that ain’t so! Also, a coyote can’t explain the Trooper’s visual!

One of the classic call recordings. Gives me the willies every time I hear it. If that was a coyote it was the biggest baddest coyote in WA, and it was using a megaphone.
