This is Brent’s last show before his passing. I was thinking about him today. I still laugh when he told me he needed a new professional News Intro. Told him to give me 30 minutes and I will have one over. It plays about 33:37 into the video. The picture of the thief on the news was Brent and I told him it was random clipart I found on the web. He said “I am not heavy set…” (Still laughing) I told him, it was random clipart on the internet, is he upset because I called some random guy on the web “Heavy Set?” I said he was reading too much into it.

I always laughed at the “wearing some kind of hat” line. I imagined Wes having a good time making that intro and giving a friend a bit of a ribbing, as good friends do.
I tip my own hat of some kind to Brent for being a friend I never met in person but brought relatability, kindness and heart to every show (and I didn’t miss too many of them).
Maybe we’ll see him again someday further down the trail, especially if any of us can show the same kindness and compassion for others that he did… God willing.
I pray he isn’t just resting in peace, but just at the beginning of starting an even more amazing life in Heaven, practicing his Homer Simpson impressions in what will make us laugh when we get to where he is.
