looks like a good one to watch cant wait to see this I love the Ozarks such a beautiful place. what kinda had me scratching my head was that I didn’t see one man with a rifle or a sidearm! on them in that few minute snippet, the folks I know in the Ozarks are heavily armed when there out in the woods not even looking for bigfoot they do it for general purpose plus if they do happen to run into a squatch or a dogmnan..

My family on my Father’s side is from this area. They pretty much followed Daniel Boone to Missouri and settled in the Ozarks. There is even a white water type creek named after them, Rippee Creek, which we spent a day 3 years ago during my Aunt’s funeral. Most of them moved to Midland, Michigan during the depression to work at Dow Chemical just before WW2. My Aunt Loraine stayed in this area her entire life and we would write letters back and forth at Christmas time until she passed 3 years ago. I would send her BFRO reports of any encounters in her area which included the Mark Twain National Forest on the eastern edge of her county, Douglas and surrounding counties. Her daughter told me she really enjoyed these. A couple of my uncles ( all now gone ) brought up wives with them to Michigan and those Aunts would tell us as youngsters to come in before dark so the boogy man does not get you. At that time in the 60s we as kids just assumed this was some kind of parent trick to get you in. Knowing what I know now, I sure would have asked them to get specific about this subject. Maybe they knew some things. I will definitely keep my eye for this documentary this summer.

Charles R , those are awesome memories. Not many can tell a family history like that anymore. My family went to central Illinois from Virginia. People back then were hard workers and of great character. There are some still around but not like it used to be. I try to engage the kids in my family (no children of my own) about the family ancestry. I’m also working on getting them straight on Sasquatch lol! They all laugh, but I know in their own thoughts when they’re alone, they believe.

Beautiful area, and quite an enticing promo. Would have been nice to have the music dropped down a bit so as not to interfere with the guy talking but that’s a minor complaint. Looks like an interesting production.

I saw prints just like the ones they cast up at Bumping Lake along the shoreline. This should be an interesting video. I wish they would tone down the music. I find it irritating and too loud.

I am excited to be a part of this documentary of our 5 days, Thermal video’s as well as tracks looked at and verified by Dr. Meldrum . Seems to be a family unit that stays in and around this private 400 acres.
