At least 49 people were killed and 20 seriously injured in mass shootings at two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch Friday, in a carefully planned and unprecedented atrocity that shocked the usually peaceful nation.

Too close to home , this one !!
Was in white beach Nubeena (10 miles from Port Arthur Tasmania ), that April Sunday morning , when Martin Bryant killed all those people ..Cops were everywhere , the roads were locked off ..choppers buzzing all over .. Could not leave the area for hours
Very nice people I knew , were taken away that day
Love from Tasmania to New Zealand <3

Thank you so much Wes, for posting this….tragedy seems to mar our world every day, and it often seems that nothing ever changes. I have been sending best thoughts and prayers to those in New Zealand…such a beautiful place, marred by a horrific and terrible issue such as this. Stay strong NZ, and once again Wes, thank you for posting it….

Cheers Wes. Sucks being a Kiwi right now. Didnt know those people but my heart goes out to all the neighborhoods in ChCh who lost family last Friday. Trying to explain this to my son is heartbreaking. He’s scared. Our great little country doesnt deserve this. This act of violence was senseless and avoidable. Kia Kaha
