A listener writes “I have multiple encounter experiences that took place all on the same property in Delaware over an 11 year period that, looking back, could fit criteria of other sasquatch encounters I’ve heard on this show.

The property I’m referring to is a 109 acre farm of mostly fields, pastures and woods that is bordered by a tax ditch and has 3 small ranch style houses that sit closer to the front of the property. The property is owned by my childhood best friend and her family. It also has a lot of interesting history prior to them owning the property, which I think may contribute to a lot of the events that take place there.

I would like to share my most prevalent experience with you, which happened three years ago (October 2017). I pulled up to my best friend’s house and parked under the same tree, in the same position, that I always do. Nothing was out of the ordinary until I decided to head home. I walked from the house to my car and got in my driver’s seat.

I suppose I hadn’t checked my surroundings as I walked to the car, probably looking at my phone or just in a tired daze from it being around midnight. As soon as I looked up from my drivers seat I saw what looked like a tall figure standing underneath the tree. The top of its head seemed to match the height of the branches, so about 6-7 feet tall, but it was hard to tell for sure at night.

I wasn’t too rattled yet because I honestly thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, so I turned on my head lights to be sure. The figure was still there but just out of view of my headlights however I could now see what looked like a cloak surrounding the figure. But where I would assume it’s face would be, still appeared pitch black.

Now I am completed freaked out and throw my car in reverse. I make it just passed the house, halfway down their long driveway before I call my friend, who is inside the house. I asked her to look out her kitchen window and tell me if she could see anything under the tree. She said no.

My only other thought was that it was the middle of October, maybe she had a weird Halloween decoration hanging from the tree. Again, she said no but she could hear the fear in my voice and became frantic. I stayed on the phone as she told me she was locking the door to the house just in case.

About a week passed and I met my best friend and her sister at their cousin’s house. We were all hanging out, watching YouTube when my best friend said her sister had seen the same thing I described (the cloaked, faceless figure) but it had been seven years before. My eyes grew wide because I had been trying to forget what I saw so I wouldn’t be fearful to step foot on the property again.

Her sister then proceeded to tell me about her encounter. She and her friend had been having a sleep over and snuck out to go walk around the farm late one night. There’s a hedgerow that divides one of the farm fields from the cow pasture. As they approached the hedgerow, they noticed something moving through the trees. She said it was moving in a way that she described as “gliding” and it was so far off the ground she thought it had to be flying. She said it looked like it landed just before the barn and walked inside. She could see it clearly under the light that was hung above the barn door. She was surprised though because her grandmother always shut and locked the barn door every night. So it was strange that the door had already been open for the figure to go inside. She described it as having a dark cloak on, but with its back to her she couldn’t see its face. She and her friend ran up to the barn door to follow it and peeked inside, but saw nothing.

They, being much braver than I could have imagined being in this situation, walked into the barn to investigate further. She said it was pitch black inside and they couldn’t see much of anything. Until something touched her shoulder and they came running out of the barn. And that was the end of her encounter.

Whatever touched her shoulder could have easily been farm equipment or something else she simply hadn’t seen in the dark and surprised her. But she is not someone I would ever say tends to exaggerate. She’s a very numbers oriented person and logical. Not someone who has ever shown interest in the paranormal. So I took her recollection of her experience at face value and believed her.

This is the most prominent experience I had on the property that will forever be ingrained in my mind. But throughout or eleven years of friendship I had heard stories about, and seen for myself, many other things that I would have called only paranormal. But after listening to this show I have noticed a lot of similarities with people’s encounters with sasquatch and figured I would share.

I have other experiences involving tree knocks on the property, that I only relate to Sasquatch because it was the middle of the night, we were deep in the woods on the property and the knocks sounded shallow, like wood smacking against a tree, unlike any wood pecker I had ever heard. And it came in threes, which at the time there were three of us in the woods. Other things like dog man and black figures have been seen on the property. And multiple experiences with banging on the house in the middle of the night, and legitimate paranormal activity that I would love to share on the show if possible. Along with the history of the property.

Thank you Wes for giving people like myself an outlet to share their experiences without feeling judged. I think the property itself has a dark energy connected to it and it has deeply affected those that live there.
