New UFO files include footage of an object being shot down

One of the most intriguing additions in the latest release of files details an alleged encounter with an unidentified object. The incident reportedly occurred over Lake Huron, Michigan, in 2023. The footage begins with what appears to be a balloon-like object being shot down by a U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jet.

Moments later, a second unidentified white object becomes visible to the right of the targeting crosshairs and remains tracked for several seconds. It eventually disappears without explanation, leaving unanswered questions about what exactly was observed.

The video raises several key questions: What was the “balloon” that was shot down? Why was it targeted? And what was the nature of the second object that appeared afterward?

According to the video description:

“USAF ANG F-16C [CALLSIGN] Shoots Down UAP over Lake Huron with [Weapon System], 12 Feb 2023.”

It continues:

“At the 11-second mark, the sensor focuses on an area of contrast in the center of its field-of-view.”

“At the 20-second mark, the footage appears to depict a kinetic interaction between two distinct areas of contrast, with the initial subject of the footage fragmenting in a radial displacement pattern that suggests a high-energy event.”

The description also includes a disclaimer stating:

“Readers should not interpret any part of this description as reflecting an analytical judgment, investigative conclusion, or factual determination regarding the described event’s validity, nature, or significance.”

Some kind of balloon and most of the comments agree. This happened right after we let the Chinese spy balloon cross the entire country starting in Alaska in Feb. of 2023. Having been brought up 20 miles from Lake Huron, the Saginaw Bay, and fishing it early in my youth, even on ice in Jan. and Feb. it caught my attention back then. However these are the first videos of it.
