Native American Culture: Sasquatch

The YouTuber writes “Want to understand bigfoot? You must first understand the US Government and how through John Wesley Powell they systematically hid all information regarding intellectual “Indians”. Reducing the native people to beings less than europeans allowed for easy removal of anything Native American from history. Except within the walls of the Smithsonian.

This allowed anyone to discredit anything Native American as superstitious and without cognitive reasoning. Native American’s were successfully reduced to be viewed as remnants of a wild world tamed by the people of the United States.”

Very sad and disturbing what we humans can do to each other and what great knowledge and people have been destroyed, not “lost”. The reason for why these things have been done is also disturbing, greed and religion, wasn’t that long ago and still happens today.

The core point is that the US Government has always been the problem. We have good people and a terrible government. I dont agree with everything he says, for one he flashes 1492 on the screen and it is well known that is propoganda, the Norse, Celts, and others never stopped arriving from the earliest days of trans oceanic voyages. Theres no “Native Americans”, but there are cultures that inhabited North America before Europeans. To state that one race inheritly has this authority to inhabit an area alone is ridiculous, generations change. Maybe the Chinese inhabited North America before the last glacial maximum, are the Chinese exlusively entitles to owning North America then ? How far back do we place blame on other generations ? King Philip’s war was a genocide against Europeans. That doesnt put these “so called” Native Americans any better spirited then Europeans. At the end of the day the importance is the knowledge and moving forward, not living in the past and hating.
