Mystery of Missing Native Women in US & Canada

Rat and Cat writes “There’s a mystery coming to light about how indigenous women in the US and Canada are disappearing without out a trace, and without notice. How could they be vanishing? Is the answer right before our eyes… and more menacing than we want to believe? I think this is really important information to get out in the public eye.”

He doesn’t mention sasquatch as a possible culprit. Multiple Native American legends speak of sasquatches abducting women and children. In Canada is the so called Highway of tears (Hwy 16) where lots of people (mostly all women or children) have gone missing along that road or from campgrounds along that road. The Canadian government claims to not keep those kinds of statistics and the numbers of missing, which vary widely depending on what you read, are extrapolated from news articles or Native American group claims.

Sasquatch is missing entirely from this discussion so I’m not sure how/why it is posted here. Seems more like a topic related to human trafficking, etc. Not that that isn’t a serious subject worthy of attention but this doesn’t seem like the proper forum unless there is a suspected Bigfoot connection somewhere. Am I missing something?

Tom, I think this is speaking to the issue of missing people in general, especially in areas known to have bigfoot. These women are at the greatest risk because there isn’t other people to notice that they are missing in the first place. As we have heard so many times, the missing people that don’t come back from their wilderness adventures are numerous but they have people looking for them. These people don’t. This fact indicates that there may be an even greater problem than we are aware because these people aren’t even included in the numbers of possible bigfoot victims. As a foster/adoptive mom, I am very aware that the government does a horrible job of keeping track of people. Without someone to be their voice so many fall through the cracks of the system and forgotten. We all need our eyes opened and engage as needed.
