A listener writes “In 2008 August my daughter who was a senior in high school and went to go to neighbors to sell them something g that they were selling to make money I think it was raffle tickets anyhow she left and was gone about an hour and when she came back she gets out of the car and says dad someone crossed the road by the bridge when I was going down there and I didn’t see any one when I got down there.

Well this did not seem right as it is a mile or more in any direction to a house from there and 2 of the homes have elderly women living in them one was my mother this is 3 miles from where there was a Bfro report about two guys seeing a 4 to 5 foot tall hairy man ?? Run across the road in front of them at mid day now I grew up hunting all this country so I went down to investigate now she said it traveled north to south across the road 1 step to road bed 1 across and 1 into the treeline on south so when coming down the road it is a half mile from top of hill to this low water bridge and its a clear view to it.

To cross the road you would step over a barb wire fence and its 5 foot almost straight down in the ditch and a good 8 feet to road then about the same distance or more across road then 8 foot to the fence across the ditch then you walk under 4 or 5 huge old walnuts then it’s 100 yards across open space. I asked her what did it look like kept and she said they were dressed in black it looked very tall so I asked how did it cross the road and she said it hopped across ditch stepped across the road then just stepped across and walked away.

This is about central located between all the other experiences I have had. The last thing that has happened was one night around 2 AM my wife and I both woke up and were like what was that now we sleep with our window open and we were like that was the strangest howl we had ever heard so at 5 when I went to leave for work there was a terrible dead animal smell so around 7 I called my wife she works from home and she asked did you smell that this morning and I said yeah must be a dead animal I’ll look around when I get home.

Well when I got home I looked around the creek and out in the pasture and smell is gone my wife then told me the dogs would not leave the deck and our Pyrenees males were in the barn and did not want to come out that morning. Thinking back there were other times our dogs would not venture out and if a coyote or a cat came around the Pyrenees would take out to meet them and these were huge dogs weighing in close to 200lbs each so when they acted timid it was something to make you think.”
