Interesting report from 2004, Marinette County, Wisconsin: “I had gone up to visit a friend of mine and I was driving home. It was just getting dark.
I was South, outside of Peshtigo WI. I had gone to Marinette WI for the weekend. I looked down to turned on my radio when I looked up a huge black and brown creature ran across in front of my car about 60 ft in front of me. I slowed down to about 35mph not sure what I had seen.
I looked in the direction it ran and didn’t see anything through the trees. I had my window cracked and smelled a skunk type smell. At that point I locked my car door rolled my window up and got out of there”

I believe with all my heart Sasquatch is in Wisconsin.
I wish more people from: Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, and Ontario would come forward. It seems to me the culture in these states are very negative to any encounter; but it’s my contention there are a lot of sightings. Why? The biggest reason is the Great Lakes and the large rivers. Second the deer populations. Third vegatation.

All those States that you mentioned are mostly democratic and liberal. No wonder they are afraid to tell the truth about their encounters. Liberals are only liberal to people with their beliefs and are totally intolerant to everyone that disagrees with them, they should not be called liberals at all because they are totally biased and prejudice against all who disagree. In Ontario (Canadian province), you are right. People are so scared to look different, they say nothing – compliant people -. The very odd Ontario sasquatch searchers group does not help with their spiritual approach to sasquatch. They should stop laughing at people like that. You wonder if they are paid to present the subject in a crazy manner… sure keeps the subject with the myths for dummies.

Yes, Bigfoot is in Wisconsin, and Minnesota. I have been contacted by several folks from Minnesota who shared their encounters with me, but would not otherwise report them. Not quite sure why that is, I don’t think the ridicule factor in the north is as bad as in the southern parts of these states though. I myself had 2 encounters in Minnesota, one was too close and the other was WAY, WAY too close!

Hello I do believe the ridicule id,worse in the Midwest. Three reasons, the higher education, two the practical culture, and the idea sasquatch couldn’t live in the midwest;they’d only live in other places. This is a generalization buthe I beilive it’s a root cause of the lack of sightings. If you look at Paulaudies. 411 map the great Lakes have a lot of disappearances. To me this isummer an indication of sasquatch activity. My grandfather told me when I was little, there were things in the swamp and to never go in there. He grew up in the woods. There were no bear in the area of Wisconsin we lived in. Bob
