    I think that’s a term similar to having the “wind knocked out of you” as I recall from emergency medicine. You would have to fracture ribs which is difficult to do with a “punch” to collapse a lung. Usually it’s a punch to the upper abdomen directly below the diaphragm – and it does describe the air being evacuated from the lungs literally – poor Wes – I do hope he is all right.

    @Jeremiah and @M99
    I’ll take a listen when I get back home. I might try to get on Me We as I enjoy discussions I’ve had with both of you. Is it difficult getting into SC group? I’m reticent to engage in social media – I’ve had some negative experiences. Thanks Jeremiah and M!

    Hmmmm I usually keep a candle burning in the window – maybe I should rethink that.

    @Rick S
    You wrote “Lol, it clearly wasn’t a plane that hit the Pentagon, it was a missile with a tail fin. Thats really old news too, the video shows that to be true under close inspection and that piece of fake news was debunked 20 years ago like the planet at supposedly crashed in Pennsylvania. Go look at that film of what hit the Pentagon and tell me that was an airplane, it’s a dead argument.”

    I was discussing my experiences in Arlington Virginia and not talking about New York incidents.

    LOL means “laughing out loud” – I think it would have been polite not to laugh at what I wrote. People died.

    @m99. It was The National Zoo – eons ago there actually was affordable housing up near there in DC. I went to the Point Defiance Zoo long time ago – very nice park I must say.

    and we should remain aware and scrutinize everything we are fed and not come to any conclusions without thorough examination of the physical evidence and witness testimony presented by use of logic and reason, and not just rely upon so called expert testimony

    Would you say handling and recording bodies and body parts from the 9/11 crash and numbers constitutes physical evidence? And next of kin lists collation? Never mind. I’ve already been laughed at for my experience like many laugh at Bigfoot encounters. Ciao to this thread and the money.

    @Ron. I saw the plane hit the Pentagon. I lived near the building. What I remember most was the stench of jet fuel. I was involved in the emergency medical services that day and I still have nightmares. It’s like many bigfoot encounters – you just don’t want to think about it.

    M99 – living near a zoo is interesting It was fun really as I had to get up and work or go to school early as it was. I do remember the lions and tigers giving out a roar now and then. One of the Bengal tigers used to bang on the door where his food was dispensed and we were near that enclosure and it was loud but predictable. I just can’t believe the racket those birds made on the video – I’d be pitching things at them on the balcony

    I should say “enclosures” not cages – they had some room to swing poor creatures.

    That bird call – no way I’d want to wake up to that. My girlfriend in college (I can’t remember which one 🙂 but she lived near a large zoo. We were usually woken up by the gibbons screeching in their cages or the hideous high pitch shrieks of lemurs. But that bird is far worse!

    True – no idea about what could happen when you enter the woods.
