When this film was first posted on Amazon, my wife asked if I wanted to watch it and stated she would pay for it. I told her that I wouldn’t pay to watch a hoaxer. When I saw it on Netflixx, I decided to watch it.
The image of the Sasquatch with it’s back to him is impressive, if it is real and not Photoshoped. The rest of the film is unimpressive. I’ve researched Standing’s videos 4 & 5 and because of what I’ve learned, I believe these are fakes. Video 4’s creature is a Muppet and nothing more. Video 5’s creature clearly has human proportions and looks an awful lot like Todd Standing himself!
I don’t know what to think of the entity with the black face at the end of the film. It does have similarities with the description given by others who said that what they saw had a human-like face but there is nowhere near enough shown to determine if it is real or a man in black face.
I’m not saying Standing is just a hoaxer. I believe he has falsified some evidence in an effort to get people to believe in Bigfoot without realizing or caring that he is hurting the cause. The reality is that his “evidence” will be used to disredit those of us who are not believers but knowers who have seen Sasquatch with our own eyes. My encounter was real and out in the open at 30 yards but why would another believe or trust me when they can point to such blatantly falsified “proof?” Ulitimately, Standing has done nothing but damage us all!
I know Wes has changed his mind and believes Standing but I believe Wes has been fooled by and is being used by Standing. I think this is likely to hurt Wes’ reputation and credibility somewhat. I hope Wes will back away from embrassing Standing and his so called “evidence.”
Wes, please realize that Standing is just using your reputation and goodwill to propagate a fraud.
