Great show on Sunday on Beyond the strange. Tracy (T) did a great job in summarizing a very complex topic. Please read through the original forum posts in Augudt 2015. Amazed that a physician can employ their skills in forensics and anthropology to assist the USFS in various situations. There are many twists and turns in the Miller doc and I think many of them were discussed on Sunday’s show. It’s a great “listen to”….take care Robert W

This is great work done with diligence and credibility; and I know because I spent hours trying to help and was amazed at the work it involves. The work by Miller is a thread that helps us see the beginnings of the government’s undertaking of knowledge and communication about Sasquatch. Finally as for Sasquatch being human… Human was far from what I saw!. Kudos to Tracy and others for their fine work.

I did some researching and the specialty of Orthopedic Forensic Sciences still exists. It is the science of determining the orthopedic causes of car acidents and other injuries. Many advertiae now to do expert witness work in car crashes, and disability claims. I spoke with a colleague from MGH (Mass General) and he stated they offer a fellowship in forensic psychiatry. I could not document they every offered an orthopedic forensic training program as Dr. Miller claimed to train in…strike 1!! Tracy – still trying to wade through things…please be patient – Robert W.

September 7, 2015 at 6:39 pm #47631Robert WParticipantHi agree with all comments and I have a brief analysis. Will left because Wes Wes and Woody were under fire about their details with their encounter. Associating with Wes and Woody would jeopardize Will’s reputation (or so he said) so he resigned. . Seems odd- so what about pressure from “Rabbit hole” episodes as a contributing factor? Let’s face it – Will wanted to be in charge, in a way, of SC; and only one person can be in charge. I think the real shame is the hurtful things said about Shannon Legro. Real shame- she was nice and smart.

It really doesn’t matter what happened – my sense is that Woody and Wes took criticism about their encounter and its validity (Wes addresses this in a brief audio blog). Then Will resigns because he has concerns about his reputation as an author (?) – not sure what that meant as well. Shannon got nailed by people for her role in the show (in fact terribly rude comments were made that were inappropriate), so she left – but my sense is that she just got tired of the politics.
They had great chemistry and personally I miss them all!
Can’t help but think all of the coincidence of this this happening after the Rabbit Hole series, and the government shows – Wes hasn’t had anything like that since – sees a bit odd. At any rate – I am still listening and a faithful SC fan!

I am sure she will do great- sometimes things aren’t the right fit for people. Not good or bad. I support her new show and it will be cool I am sure.
