I’m not married and currently living alone so I get peace from that aspect of it, however family , friends laugh in my face if I talk about the subject with any hint of me thinking that sasquatch could be real.

I’m kind of used to it though as I’m Christian so any conversation about faith I usually get push back for believing in the “cloud wizard” and all that rude BS.

My whole POV is an open mind , in all most ever case I can think of , is better than a closed mind. It doesn’t mean believe easily everything you read, hear or see…but at least consider everything and form your view from there not just “nope doesn’t exist, you are stupid”. I can’t stand close-minded people, I have little patience with them.

I’m sure this will end well.

I got vaccinated back in Jan (1st shot) / and early Feb (2nd shot).

Get flu shot every year for 10 years……

Of course all the above is required of me because I work at a hospital. You can get an exemption for religious reasons or a sound medical one, but its strict. Certainly “because its my body that’s why” isn’t a reason that will fly. The religious reason has to be confirmed with an official of that religion (ie. rabbi, priest, pastor, etc.)

I could say a ALOT about those mindsets not getting vaccinations but I won’t. Its a sasquatch website, not the place to have raging debates about what is or isn’t right or wrong.

Southern NJ, not more than a 25-30 min drive from crossing the bridge into Philly.

I guess the closest “active” (or supposedly active) sasquatch area to me , besides going to deep into PA….is the Pine Barrens. I haven’t been there in ages but I think its about 45 minutes from me (mind you I don’t drive slow).

I’m late to the forum (I don’t really do anything with my membership here except listen to member podcasts), but I told people the day this news broke about Trump having Covid — “ok…and?”

Only because he’s president its news…. MILLIONS have gotten covid, its a thing that happens when there’s a pandemic. There’s precautions you can take if you unfortunately get it — don’t freak out stay calm…quarantine, practice good hygiene habits — especially with your hands and face.

There’s no cure so all you can do is ride it out using common sense.

One of the problems with the times we live in — people freak out and turn on the drama machine to max at the metaphorical “drop of a hat”.

You are comparing a code virus to a biomedical virus. Your logic is utterly ridiculous and without merit.

(Bill Gates hasn’t touched the code of Windows for YEARS, he is not even in their day to day anymore — you really think Gates is consulting on what they put in the 1909 build for Windows 10 for instance?; also there’s no network connected system or OS in the world that is 100% immune to virus attack. If someone told you otherwise — you were lied to.)

Not to mention Gates isn’t an epidemiologist he personally is NOT “working on a vaccine”, from what I’ve read his foundation is investing in vaccination research and production, which is good because the “evil truth” people hate to hear is this stuff costs money…lots of money, so let the billionaires help out from that angle at least.

As if I would accept a mandatory vaccination or not? I doubt I’ll be given the choice, I work at a hospital. We’ve already been circulated emails that should/if a qualified covid-19 vaccination become available it will likely be mandatory for all employees. (Btw the flu shot is like this for us to, if we want to keep our job we have to get the flu shot each year).
