Hmm. Darrel B., an interesting take. I do believe that there is no shortage of misinformation and obfuscation being perpetrated by the government, but I shudder to think about what kind of horrific event you might be thinking of. I tend to think that the UAP phenomenon has become an accepted fact by a huge section of the population, and I think it is getting harder and harder for the govt to keep denying what it knows. I truly hope that the kind of deceptive practices you mention are not what has prompted recent disclosures. It’s a terrifying theory.
Knobby, you are correct about the pressure coming from Congress. It is my understanding that Harry Reid became interested in the topic after being repeatedly contacted by numerous people with inside knowledge. Luis Elizondo and Chris Mellon, along with Tom DeLong’s To The Stars Academy are largely responsible for finally getting Reid to take this topic seriously and finally get it brought before Congress. I am just wondering if there are any similar organizations using similar methods to address the Sasquatch/Bigfoot topic. It seems to me that there must be some member of Congress that would take this topic seriously enough to start the search for answers. I am wondering if there is any organization that has submitted freedom of information act requests for information pertaining to governmental knowledge of, or interactions with, unknown bipedal hominid creatures. I don’t think we can just assume that there is no interest or that Congress just sees this topic as just something that a bunch of crazies believe in. There are just too many documented sightings by reliable witnesses and first hand experiential anecdotes out there to be dismissed out of hand. There must be a way to push this agenda forward.
