    In all fairness to scientists I believe that if they had funding for research to investigate areas of encounters then they would go do it. Hopefully there are some people out there that have so much money and interest in the subject that they would be willing to fund it. They would need to be shown that there are locations that have activity as well as scientists willing to go do the research if it were funded.

    I think scientists would need to be out there on a day to day basis indefinitely at an established base camp. And they would need to consider how they should behave in order to attract attention and not pose a threat. And they should consult with primatologists who have studied apes in the field, as well as get insight about sasquatches from Native Americans, people who have had encounters in the area and people who have habituation sites. If I were an interested billionaire then I would set up a foundation to give grants to those with convincing proposals.

    Kent C, Sorry for not making that distinction. My number one complaint is with the scientific community generally not going to places with Sasquatch activity. Their reasoning not to is irrelevant. This subject needs scientific investigation.
