I like it when you touch on things outside of bigfoot. I know that’s your bread and butter but you im sure a lot of these people that have been on the show have had other experiences that would be just as interesting and possibly help lead to more answers. Theres a lot of strange to this world and bf isnt going anywhere.
I would definity be interested in that. This is my first time on the forum so I dont really know much about it. All ive really ever done is comment on episodes. I would love to know what others around michigan are experiencing. I have a feeling people see way more than they talk about. West mi inparticular can be a conservative place which I think makes it hard to share. Id love to know where she saw what she did. Based on what you said I have a feeling it was probably south side of kentwood probably southeast.

I know what you mean about being hit with stark reality. Thats what happened when i saw the light. Now that encounter is off topic, but that one I saw with adult eyes, in clear view and proved to me that there is way more to this world than i know when it shot off, through the clouds and into space after being at relative ground level. I watched it for 20 seconds before it did that and about made me s* my pants. I was with a friend who also watched it all before his eyes. That helps validate it. That one was between Marshall and charlotte mi.
Youre right, theres nothing to prove to anyone except myself. I’ll always wonder what ive seen and what other people report seeing. It disturbs me thinking i may not be alone when i go hunting and that having a gun may make things worse.Possible dogman encounter. Near Marshall mi. I was probably around 12-13 at the time which puts the date around 97-98. It was summer. I was staying at my aunt and uncles house with my sister and cousins as we often did during the summer. It was a ranch style house that was built into a hill. So the back half of it was underground and the front exposed. They had big, tall windows across the front of the home. This happened during the night at an unknown time. All my cousins were girls so they all, along with my sister, slept in a bed room while i slept out on the couch. I grew up in the city so being out there in the country was a little scary some times and made it hard for me to fall asleep on occasion. This night i fell asleep no problem but woke up feeling very uneasy, i would almost say scared. It was silent, no outside noise at all, which is strange for the country. For whatever reason I turned over and looked outside only to see a giant dogs head looking in the window at me. It was so large and its eyes were so intense. I remember looking at it and thinking, wow theres a giant dog looking in the window. I swear it was smiling or grinning. Then I surprisingly turned over and went back to sleep. That was it. It lasted 15-20 seconds. The reason i think its more than just a dog is because it was massive. Its head filled the window. These windows must have been 36″ wide. As a kid I didnt make the connection of how big it really was. It wasnt very high so it must have been on all fours. The windows sat maybe 3′ off the ground. It was jet black. The only reason i could see it so well was because the motion lights were on. Its eyes werent yellow like everyone says though, they were blue as blue can be. Brilliantly blue. And intensely starring at me. Whats weird about it is my family had a dog pen with 6-7 pitbull mixes. They had a pitbull who bred with a black lab basically making these giant, black pitbulls. They were big dogs. They kept them all, they were kind of redneck. They had to get rid of them because they ganged up on my uncle and bit him a few times. I guess they developed a pack mentality. They werent intimidated easily. The pin was maybe 40′ from were I saw this. When it showed itself none of them made a sound. So later on I thought maybe i didnt really see that. Maybe it was a dream. Because if there were another dog in the area, they would have went absolutly crazy. Plus it was so big, way too big for a normal German shepherd. It wasnt until I heard that dogman may be a real thing that i looked back on that memory and question it. Thinking of its face gives me chills. Like there was more of an acute awareness to it. Almost like it knew that I didnt know what i was looking it.. Like it was watching my confusion. It makes no sense. If it doesnt make sense to the person looking at it, how will it ever come close to making sense to someone else when recounting the event. Must be why no one talks about it. Even after seeing what I have, I still question it. Maybe if i were to see something again with less skeptical eyes or a clearer, less circumstantial view. To me dogman is very interesting. Bigfoot somehow is believable, but this dogman thing… Doesnt seem natural. I dont know what I mean by that exactly. I guess thats why i listen to this stuff hahaha.
I dont think my encounters are interesting enough to be on the show. You can use my account at your leisure. I wish I could have gotten a better look at it. But from what I saw it looked to be dark brown. Im guessing between 8-9′ tall, I believe a lane in the road is 10′ and this thing took up most of that not counting its streched out arms. At the shoulders id say it was 4-5′ tall. Anyones guess on the weight. I know that sounds crazy I thought something that big was a cougar but your mind tries to rationalize it somehow. I saw something so it has to be SOMETHING. It happened so fast and wasnt that clear of sight so you justify it somehow. To be honest I really can’t say it was a bf i saw even. I just think if they are out there.. Then that was one. Lol. I wouldn’t mind talking to other people who have had encounters. Ive heard plenty of things others have experienced, and sadly all of them pass it off rationally like I tried to do. Mostly small things like deer kills disappearing and crazy noises. Bigfoot encounter. UP of mi. Maybe 20 miles south of Houghton. I was travelling north to houghton to visit the college mi tech. I was with my gf and her family at the time. It was around 8 pm, march of 2005. It was dark out at the time. Everyone in the vehicle was asleep except for my gfs dad and I. I was in the back seat and he was driving when we saw it. It crossed the road in front of us about 50-75 yards ahead. There was another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction so both of our headlights were illuminating it. It was just far enough for our head lights to not be directly on it so when we saw it we couldnt identify it clearly. For years and years i thought we saw a cougar becuase of how it moved. It obviously wasnt a bear becuase of how smooth it seemed to move. It was on all fours and seemed to glide across the road. It took up the entire lane we were in. It moved from the right to left and took strides, like one arm reached out with the opposite rear leg at the same time, back and forth. Like a cat walking. I figured a bear running would be more of a gallop. It crossed the road in 3 strides then went up an embankment on the other side of the road and into the woods. The embankment was probably 45° and 50 yards to climb. It was up it like lightning. I had never seen anything move like that even on tv. And it was so long. Thats way for years i thought it was a big cat. Back then the thought of bf never crossed my mind and what else would move like that. I remember thinking holy shit if that ‘s a cougar then they are huge and fast! When we saw it i said to my gfs dad what the f is that? And all he said was i dont know.. So for years I thought it was a cougar but looking back, now that im older i know that cougars arent that big. They don’t stand that tall and arent that long. Something I never thought of was how deep the snow must have been. Up there in march there must have been 3-4 feet of snow on the ground. When we walked around the campus of the college the walk ways had snow 4’ of snow next to them. So it must have been a big beast to be able to traverse that. I’ll never forget it. Didn’t realize it could be that until years later when I got interested in missing persons and found david p’s stuff. Then connected the dots. Thats my main encounter.. Ive seen the lights too.. That changed my life seeing that. Ive had others… Tent rubbing, strange sounds while off roading, seen dogman but thought it was a dream. I could go on and on. All of that is in the lower peninsula.
