Oh, and hopefully I won’t be too busy in about six more months! I’ve only got a few more days to decide, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to retire at the end of this school year.

Thanks Knobby, I’ve been here but with the last two years trying to teach during a pandemic I’ve had little time do do anything else, so I’ve just mainly been reading the forum when I can. Just not enough time or too tired to post much lol

Trump belongs in prison, and I’m hoping they put him there ASAP. I don’t trust him the first time he ran, and even less now. He is a narcissistic psychopath in my opinion, and the way he has so many people following him and thinking he’s the answer to all of our problems is way to close to the way Hitler operated. Do a little research on Hitler and you can see the similarities between he and Trump.

Yes, he was put on a ventilator at some point. He was also on an ECMO machine, I think that’s the initials. The machine runs outside of the body, the patient’s blood flows through it to receive oxygen, then it flows back into the body. He received a blood transfusion from blood donated by someone who had recovered and tried various medications that they said had helped others. I really believe they did everything they could possibly do to save him. I really think he waited too long to go to the hospital. At first he just thought it was allergies and thought he was getting a sinus infection.
Just so you all know this virus is not a hoax. We buried my cousin, Jeff, a week ago last Thursday. He was a captain with the Oklahoma Highway patrol. He was 58 years old and no underlying health conditions. So anyone that gets it, there is a possibility of death. The Drs. thought he would pull through and he had been in critical but stable condition and seemed to be doing better for a couple of days, then he died. I really didn’t appreciate any of the remarks that Trump made when he was discharged from the hospital. He tried to make everyone believe that the virus was no big deal, and I’m here to tell you that for some people it is a big deal.

The bad thing is that I still can’t get to the home page by using the link listed on the site. I prefer using the home page over the blog page because the home page is divided by days and the blog page isn’t.
