Hello Everyone,

This has been a very spirited debate, as well as a sounding board for sharing insight’s on what to do when you know where to find bigfoot, etc.

My brother and I found them, there can be no mistake about that. We’ve seen them, heard them, seen what they’ve done to food we’ve left out for them (such as snapping live tree branches 10 feet up at the root where a stringer of fish dangled from just days before…with the stringer left intact and the fish gone). We have seen footprints that are imperfect because of the amount of leaves strewn about the lair they occupy. They’re there, and they are not a conventional animal, nor a human. Humans don’t go out to this part of the woods, could never be this well concealed and stealthy, and would have never had the strength to break that live tree branch (it was obviously not hacked off by a tool). The odds they could even have found our well-hidden bait in two days is equally dubious; and if a human found it, they would have just untied and taken the stringer, or left it be.
We’ve even seen the bigfoot territory marker, halfway to their perch, snapped 10 feet up next to another tree in a triangle shape (both were live trees, and very clearly appeared snapped). Moreover, we’ve seen them stalking us, and no conventional animal I know can stand that tall, or is built like a linebacker — with no neck.

I don’t need anymore convincing for myself or my brother who lives in the area and saw what I saw. He says he never knew they were out there, and saw strange things growing up, but didn’t think anything of it til he watched a bigfoot documentary with me and said “hey, that’s happened to me,” or “hey, that’s in the woods, something that looks just like that is back there.” This left us to experiment setting bait by a river with all the trappings of a bigfoot nest (thick, tangled trees and vines, tall swooping slopes perfect to ambush animals drinking at the riverside), and it all went from there. To top it off, my brother and a friend even got into a 15 minute wood-knocking conversation with them, and captured it on video.

It is now others that need to be convinced, and the scientific community at large. Is it worth it to risk life and limb trying to habituate these things by feeding patterns to catch them on camera? Is it worth risking their reprisal for frequent visitations and evidence gathering? What would you do if your elderly parents and kids luxuriate in Grandma and Grandpa’s home which, you now know, is just 2 miles out from a woodsy bigfoot hunting ground? Would Sasquatch not come because they live in a residential area with sparse woodcover, or would it leave them alone? Should the risk be taken? I don’t yet know, and am weighing the cost/benefit analysis.

I’ve suffered some anxiety over this. Whether to continue, or let it go. I haven’t made up my mind, but we’ve been contacted by an expert and they will provide us some more guidance. I’m lucky I’m in this with them and my brother.

Thanks for all your insights and support. I haven’t made up my mind what to do yet, but I’ve made up my mind about these creatures….they exist, and were right under our noses for 20 years. That fact alone, is both disturbing and exciting.

This is getting too close for comfort. Maybe I should just stop and let it alone. My kids play at their Grandma’s house all the time.

Everytime I visit, they come closer…

That video is making me think twice about visiting again.

I will think about making more purposeful visitations, IE, catching footage. I may also investigate. Lots of folk spoke of sightings when I was a kid and I thought they were crazy.

After this experience…I no longer do.
