I hear owls here. This was far too loud to be an owl. The recording just doesn’t capture the scope of the underlying sound. Hopefully the new recorder will capture it again, and will have a better representation.
It was really creepy sounding, both times. It always catches you off guard even if you want to hear it.
My family and I camped in Coshocton when I was just a kid. We heard stories, but I think even as a kid, it seemed like nonsense. I had camped so often there, we never saw or heard anything. That all changed of course in 91. I can totally see they’d be right at home in Coshocton. Between the good fishing and deer population, lush rivers…it’s all there. Dave i will be back in Ohio in all of August. Would love to meet up with you if you have the time and go on some hikes?
Also, thanks everyone for chiming in on Ohio bigfoot.
I live in Los Angeles, but I do a lot of traveling. Took a trip up to Willow Creek about a month ago. I am originally from Ohio and spend time there once or twice a year. I will probably be in Ohio in August, as well as November-January.
