I have hunted Indian reservations in saskatchewan around red pheasant in the 90s. The Indians do think it’s real and the only thing that ever happened to me in the bush that was strange too place in saskatchewan. 2 of the areas I hunted in Manitoba and sask both have recorded sightings there. The amount of bush iso vast one could hide 100 white ones there and never see it. My vote is yes for Canada.
Side note if there are researchers out there that have so called pics for God sake show the world. I for one do not beleive the hype that people have all these pics and they never surface. There is a new world record whitetail in Ohio and he likes the camera and is still alive. But people have seen the pics and some made it to the Internet. If a hunter kills that buck he is in for a wild ride with money and endorsements.
The hunting world is a thousand times bigger than bf and I would guess if someone had clear pictures via trail cam he or she would be putting them out there for some kinda $ gain.I’m a trail cam nut.
