So the sickness has spread to even animal shelters…. sad I hope that these people aren’t placing the kittens on vegan diets too – that is definitely animal cruelty!
He says “Portland” so I would imagine this is Portland, Oregon – but I know there are other “Portlands”. If you happen to be able to talk to Wes, he’d be able to tell you if that was Portland, Oregon or not.

Yes. Parts 1, 2 and 3 are all related. Basically, this ranger is getting out the word that there are dangers in the State/National Parks that are being covered up. He was tapped for “special investigations” reporting to what we would term “men in black” – they don’t really dress in black. He speaks of seeing what most would call a “portal”. A ranger was found dead and pretty well every bone in his body broken and the family was told “he fell off a cliff” – no cliff was involved. He also speaks of cryptids as well.

I did meet a guy in high school who was a top-notch chess player. He’d play me with his back to the board and I would call out my moves and then he would call his back to me. I never won a game…but that was different than playing as you said – in your scenario no moves are being called out so you would never know what your opponent has done. I also played 3D chess with him – same way – never won that either. 😀
Cool, Knobby. That’s the unfortunate part…if you don’t know for yourself that you are being fed wrong info, how then will one know in most instances…
Yes indeed. It is all in how the tool is used. If the tool is used to replace having to know things – this is bad. I wonder about AI as, when one gets down to it, it is a program. A program is only as good as the information it is fed. GIGO – Garbage In – Garbage Out. So, now I wonder how it determines what is fact/true and what is false. If the “woke” culture has any input, then some answers to questions I would think would be very suspect.
The number of huge wasps coming out of that nest was terrifying. And those suckers don’t just sting once and die – they can sting several times.
