    I can see the problem. I just thought it may be worth a try like they tranquilize elephants and large animals. At least if it died from a tranquilizer there would probably less pile on but maybe not.

    Really interesting prints and thanks for sharing!! I often wonder why we dont find handprints on the ground due to all the reports of them crawling on all fours.

    Its interesting here in Australia that much of the Yowie/Bigfoot range includes substantial cattle properties yet there are very few reports of cattle or horses being taken and the reports mainly describe calves being taken not adults. There is plenty of other food sources in Kangaroos, wild dogs, cats but you would think animals in a paddock would be an easier meal for them.

    Has anyone thought about using a tranquilizer gun? Would there be an issue accessing the tranquilizer? At least this would minimize the pile on to whoever brings one in. Big effort to get a 500-1000+lbd body out of the forest!
