I posted to the blog earlier in the week regarding this story. Here are some additional pictures:
A Denton ranch family had a scare Wednesday morning when a wolf-like animal was spotted in a pasture with livestock. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks warden Sgt. Kyle Andersene of the Lewistown Field Office details the Wednesday morning encounter with the animal.

Thanks for the additional pictures! I think it’s a dog/wolf hybrid. Doesn’t look near as big in the pic where it is layed out on the tail gate.

Thanks for the extra pics. Please let us know what they finally determine this animal to be.
Thx, Wes.

I take back my “bear comment” from the other day…..it has a TAIL! That’s spooky and looks big.

In video the lower jaw seems much shorter then usual. We saw alot of the weird “hairless hybrid canines” in Texas with shorter lower jaws and more rounded ears. Very unusual animal.

Thanks for the additional pictures and update. It’s definitely not a bear! I take back my bear comment too! Thanks Wes.

Thanks Wes!

Paw is not so big, I have seen wolf tracks, easily double that and my Bernese Mt. Dog is bigger at 120lbs. I think its a wolf hybrid with a smaller breed. Funky looking.

I think the internet hyped this up. My German Shepherds are larger than this thing. Looks like just a filthy wolf or coyote mix tbh.

There are only 3 species of Wolves in the world.
This looks like a young Irish Wolfhound – Wolf Cross.
