The KBRO writes “In the summer of 1982, around 2:00 PM on a clear, sunny afternoon, a man and his wife were driving through North Park in Allegheny County, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when they experienced what he believes was a Sasquatch sighting. As they drove past an open grassy area near the Girl Scout Lodge, he noticed a large, black, upright creature approximately 75–100 yards away.
The witness watched the creature for about two minutes as it walked purposefully across the field toward the woods. It swung its arms naturally, had an estimated 7-foot stride, and remained upright the entire time, convincing him it was neither a person nor a bear. Before he could get out of the vehicle for a closer look, the creature disappeared into the trees.
His wife also witnessed the event. Although he briefly considered chasing after it, he decided against it because he didn’t know how the creature might react. Since then, he has shared the story with many people, despite receiving skeptical reactions. More than four decades later, he still vividly remembers the encounter and firmly believes he witnessed a Sasquatch in broad daylight. The experience strengthened his belief that these creatures exist, and he continues to hope for another sighting someday.”
