Lake Minnewanka Wildman Update

I think after you hear my upcoming show you will understand why it has been reported that they close the area down and post heavily armed guards.

Lake Minnewanka is a large glacial lake five kilometres (three miles) from the town of Banff. The lake is 21 kilometres (13 miles) long and 142 metres (466 feet) deep. It is a beautiful spot, popular for picnicking, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, diving, and snowshoeing.

For over 100 centuries, people have camped and hunted along the original shores of Lake Minnewanka. The indigenous Stoney Nakoda First Nations people called it Minn-waki (Lake of the Spirits) because they respected and feared the lake for its resident spirits. Early European settlers later named it Devil’s Lake.

I just watched Canadian Rockies By Rail, and one of the places the train stops is Banff. Beautiful place! The whole time I watched it I was thinking and looking for a Sasquatch ? thanks Wes! I always look forward to what’s next…love the show!

Back in 1988 my cousin and I cycled from Banff to this lake. Then we rented a canoe and enjoyed the lake. Very beautiful place. A couple of days later the area was closed because a mother grizzly was moving through the area with her cubs. It gives me the chills now to think sasquatch was around and I didn’t realize.

What a beautiful picture at the top of this entry. Is this what is happening now? BF move in and the government move humans out? Thanks for sharing this video. Food for thought.
