A listener writes “On April 3, 2016 my daughters 27 year old friend of 15 years & I were leaving Fair Grove MO around 9:30 p.m. heading south on Hwy 65 to Springfield MO.  4 miles south of Fair Grove around mile marker 60 on the west side of the Highway in the drop of the side of the road something came into the sight of my headlights.  At that time I drove a 1999 Grand Marquis.  What we saw next was huge.  It was facing away from the road toward the ridge.  It’s head was looking down.  We saw huge shoulders about 4 to 5 feet wide.  It’s right arm was as big as a man’s thigh,  a well built man.  It’s waist went in like it’s shoulders were the top of a V and the waist a solid bottom of a V.  It probably weighed about 800 lbs. I would say.  It’s skin was charcoal gray and it had scarce hair a tan to auburn color, like it had mange or something.

I said to Tina “What is that?”  she said “I don’t know but it is huge.”  We repeated that to each other about 3 times.  Then I asked “Should we stop?”  She said “No, I’m going to pee myself.”  I asked “Should we turn around and go back?”  She said “No really I’m going to pee myself.”  I then told her to call my father who lives in Fair Grove and we were telling him about it.

Tina left to go home to Northern Missouri Monday morning.  Monday afternoon when I got off work at 4:30 pm my parents picked me up and we went back to were we had the sighting.  My father walked up onto the ridge as my mother and I inspected the area dropping from the road.  I found the attached footprint.  It was 18 inches long and 9 inches wide.  A piece of dry grass had popped up out of one of the footprints and it still had wet mud on it.  My father walked up on the ridge and as he walked north to south and went back down to where my mother found deer antlers stripped clean and broken.

I noticed on the ridge that there was a tree bend and an X made from tree’s beside each other.  I was standing on the shoulder of the road at this time.  I had my cell phone and started taking pictures of the tree’s.  Later my father was doing the measuring of height and size.  We figured it was around 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide.  I was taking pictures of my dad as he did the BoBo arm extension and etc.  I heard rock clacking to my right on the ridge.  I looked that way and took some pictures.  Nothing was found in those pictures but I think there is a face by a tree above were my dad was at and the clacking was a distraction so it could move.

The interesting thing is that in the picture of the tree bend and X later that night my dad found a creature in front of a tree looking right at me that I didn’t see when I was taking the picture.  We will send you that picture.  The creepy thing is that my dad had momentarily walked by that very spot before I took the picture.  Please let us know what you think.  We are very interested in this subject.  My brother and I listen to your show religiously.  Thank you for the great information and being supportive of people.  Thank you for making a stand against those that feel the American people should stay oblivious to this creature.”
