It was covered in thick dark brown hair

A listener writes “I was sitting with some friends tonight and they love your podcast!

We started talking about big foot and I decided to finally tell someone about my experience. I was about 22 and my boyfriend and I at the time had buried our turtle we had for years behind a cemetery in Macon, Georgia. We would go and visit the site once in awhile. On one particular visit we walked down the hill near this little creek we had buried the turtle. We were just talking and hanging out when I just happened to look down the creek because I had a feeling someone was watching us.

I froze and grabbed his arm and pointed and whispered “What is that?” He then turned to look. There was something in the creek. It looked to be just sitting in the water watching us intently, not moving. I started backing up, never taking my eyes off of. It did the same. It’s glare never leaving us. This went on for what seemed like forever.

Until it just quickly crawled (like a human) out of the creek. Stood up on two legs and sprinted into the woods on the opposite side of the creek that we were on. It was covered in thick dark brown hair and had a very human like face with beady eyes. It was huge! Over six feet. I immediately ran to the car and started crying and shaking. I haven’t been back there since.”
