A listener writes “First and foremost I can not have my name associated with this, do to my job. I work in —–Removed—— as a Law Enforcement Officer. I have been listening to your show since last year. I had never really put too much thought into the bigfoot/sasquatch thing, since listening to your show that has changed.
Anyways, to last night’s events. I made a traffic stop on suspicion of DUI. Upon approaching the vehicle the driver seems very disturbed and worried I ask him what was going on, he said that him and his girlfriend had been bow-fishing in the county to the west of us. I go through my normal traffic stop procedures and when I come back up to the vehicle He says to me, “sir I need to ask you something, have you ever seen anything weird?” I said all the time, with my job. He says” no in the woods.” I said what do you mean?
He said that he was bow-fishing on a damn and heard some coyotes in the woods not far off. He didn’t think too much of it. He said a few minutes later he heard a loud roar/growl then a coyote yip like it had been hurt or something. He said there was then a bunch of noise in the edge of the water. I asked him if he saw anything and he said that he did not just the noises. I jokingly said that it could have been a squatch. He said man I don’t know what it was, but it was something that I had never heard before.
Mind you I ran this individual through all the field sobriety tests so I know that he was not under the influence of anything at all. He was very much concerned/worried/scared.
I do not know that it was a bigfoot, but I thought that you would find this interesting. What do you think?”

hard to say considering that there was no visual reference of anything but still makes you wonder. cant be too quick to assume it was a big guy but its never out of the realm of possibilities. hopefully this doesn’t deter him and his girlfriend from returning to the good old outdoors.

Thanks for reporting this Officer, Deputy or Trooper. Obviously this guy had to be really freaking out which affected his driving pattern. Can you tell us which state your in?

Ok…..I’ll bite…Did you give him a ticket?!!? Cuz that would be the ultimate kick in the groin…scared poopless by Sasquatch AND got a ticket…..worst night ever…. Next traffic stop I’m using that one….??

I recoded the same thing this guy describes at my house. I left a recorder out all night and got a very loud roar or growl followed by a yip and a couple hours later I got what sounds like 3 tree knocks.
