Tony B. posted this photo in the Facebook group “Appalachian Sasquatch And Bigfoot Research”. I sent him a message to see if I can get more information on it. I hate posting videos and pictures without the backstory but I found the photo’s interesting. I will get as much info as I can and report back to you guys and gals on what I find out.

It looks almost real…except as with Daniel M, the reflection in the water of the creature is somewhat off to my eyes…

I would figure the reflection should be right below the creature versus off the side. Just my thoughts, folks…till we get more details. Thanks!

That photo definitely ‘looks’ like a large bipedal chimp, but why is the reflection ‘off’ in the water beneath it?

The reflection is suspicious. It should be at an angle not just an upside down reflection. Very cool looking though real or not.

I don’t know about this one. All the other object’s reflections are directly below them and the creatures reflection is the only one off to the side. I’d say someone tried but not hard enough

As an avid photoshop user, I must say this image looks “placed” into the scene. I could be wrong though.

Same Rob. Something is really bothering me. It might be the lighting around the sasquatch which makes it feel almost highlighted and may be a possible way to cheat the bigfoot into the picture in without bluring the edges which is a dead giveaway these days. The fur edges against the suns light bothers me alot but I can’t tell if the lighting is coming from the wrong direction in that respect.
Also that reflection… I think alot of us can see its wrong but can’t place a finger on it.

Are you sure that is the creatures shadow? It looks like a solid mass, but I know nothing about photography so maybe it is a shadow.

The reflection definitely is off to the side…. unless the water drops quick, and we just cant tell from photo… creature looks interesting,,,, i can see scruffie hair, long arms….not sure….Ciao

I dunno ….. The reflection seems to correlate to the other objects in the frame to me. It looks like it’s holding a stick or branch. Maybe it was poking around in the water, assuming it’s real ? Can’t wait to see what Wes finds out. Definitely seems to have been rode hard and put away wet !!! Super creepy.

It looks like the photo’s been circulating for a while now — when you see the original (and the companion photo) it’s more obvious that it is inauthentic.
