Yea, he is thankful that it seems these hominids prefer deer over humans. They are like the Alien in the movie Predator – except they hunt deer instead. Thank goodness im not a deer.
And yes, he does carry a gun – however he has thought about it and has concluded that actually using it against them is a death wish and likes to tell himself they know what a gun looks like and will think twice about causing harm – in the end he is at their mercy.
Ok, time to stop talking in third person lol.
