I’m not sure what I saw

A listener writes “My wife and I recently bought a travel trailer, so we have been checking out a lot of camp sites in Texas. This past weekend we stayed a Mother neff state park.

I’ll just get right too it…it was about 2am,I have a puppy who is almost a year old and he had diarrhea. So I let him out to go potty, I had a headlamp on that’s pretty bright. I was sweeping around and I caught some I shine, walking down a pathway that may have been a hiking trail but I’m not sure.

The reason it caught my attention was because the eye shine was at the same level as my eyes. I’m Only about 5 foot six, when I first saw it the way it was walking so fluidly in the dark down that path made my heart sink. Then it noticed the light and froze and looked at me, it was probably 30 to 40 yards away right when it froze I saw it blink. That’s when I hurried and put the dog inside the trailer.

Then came back to the end of the trailer where I was before, it was still standing there at the same eye level I was, I then started making hissing noises like a cat thinking that if it was an animal like a deer or a bobcat it would go away. But it did it just kept looking at me then it turned his head and looked behind and then back at me.

The reason I decided to write you, is because I couldn’t see what it was,I could only see the eyeshot. But as bright as the headlamp is At that distance I should have lit it up..But I could just see the big turquoise blue yellowish eyes..blinking. At the time I kept thinking maybe it’s a really big mountain lion. That was my first initial thought because of how far apart the eyes were.

What really drives me crazy is the beam of light should’ve lit up the animal I should’ve seen it but I couldn’t, not even an outline. Just two really pretty turquoise blue yellow eyes looking right back at me my same eye level. Keep going back to how fluid the eyes shine was moving when it was “walking” down the path, it was almost as if someone who had their head down was just walking to get somewhere. Then they noticed the beam of light on them and they froze. If it was a person why didn’t they have a light at 2 o’clock in the morning, it was really dark. It just seem like they were going to work almost. Really weird man can’t get it out of my head.”

Don’t worry Buddy, you probably only saw a Bigfoot.

Humans aren’t bioluminescent creatures like dogs, cats, fireflies or jellyfish. Animals such as dogs and cats including Bigfoot’s yes, Sasquatch too, have tapetum lucidum behind the retina causing light to reflect light and appears to glow in light during dark conditions.

Yellow and Red glowing eyes appear the most predominant colors reported during dark time hours though they are reported during day time hours as well.
